Wait.....what has the Eurogamer review of the Wii U got to do with anything?

Well I am tired, not just of internet life but of real every day life. There are lots of things that irritate me online and in everyday real world life, overeactions, hypocrisy, dependance. I feel like I need a break from everything. But also I am concerned about data protection etc - for any website, I want the option to delete my account. I can delete my own reviews, blogs, posts, threads etc. But should there come I time I want to nuke my account, I would like the option to exist.
I don't want to sound ungrateful to Yoda, the site works really well technically. The people on the other hand.....
Hey I hope your over hating me, I'm just one old goof with a very opinionated style. You could just ignore like others.

I've never hated you Bear, you've probably thought I hated you but I never have. I find you very like-able.
Steel on the other hand...
His medical advice is substandard! My poor stomach.

Why 'retire' at all from the internet? Just stop using any accounts you ever had. Retiring from the internet is like no longer watching tv. Where would you get your news or your entertainment? Once you delete all that stuff then what if you want to return later on? Everything would be gone. What if someone like me decided on saving all your blogs, reviews, etc. only to repost all that stuff and mock you about it?
I know you are far too lazy to do something like that.
Retiring from the internet doesn't mean not reading news. But it would mean not posting.

We're trying to get him to stay, Steel.

Coming up to my 5 year away from Gamespot anniversary, 10 years online posting anniversary.
File this under the completely pointless, but why not category:
In the games completion megathread, each time they complete a game, they get a plus one.
Would it be possible to get an auto splitter tool for news updating headlines?
The character limit means I have to manually cut/paste long headlines between the headline and subline boxes. A button which will auto split it (without breaking whole words) would make posting news a lot easier for me.
I have a great suggestion. Whenever we change pages on the site can we get the Transformers transition and music sequence?
I have to keep asking because there has been no response.
I think any website where you have a registered account, should have the option to delete said account. When the time comes to retire from the internet I would like there to be options to close my affairs.
