My gates were open from just past 8 to near 9pm but no one showed.
We must have just missed each other. I did check to see if there were any towns to visit at exactly 8.05 pm UK time like I said. Maybe next time

Yeah you literally missed me by a minute or two. I usually go online between 8 and 9 pm but have done so less as I have to character swap between my four characters now.
Not sure if I'll have more time to play today because of work but if so I will try to make it in that time window so we can possibly have a visit.

Not all that much, basically I just took some fruit (a couple lemons, cheries, apples, a persimmon, a peach and a pear) ... I didn't even have room for coconuts. I planted everything except for the bamboo. Where should I plant it?

just leave a 1 square grid free on all sides. The locker in the train station acceses your home closet online so just plonk items in that. Dont bother with turnips, if you invest a million you only get a 400k profit, you can earn that much every night bug hunting on the island.

It's self duplicating, you'll find a spot on the ground near it that looks like a fossil, dig it asap or it with either die or grow in that spot. Once you dig it up you can plant it anywhere.
