Why so little bestiality and gore in the Gantz gifs? Uneasy Looks nothing like the manga.

Also, you need some Stardust gifs:

There's only one suggestion of that in the anime. As I understand there are major differences in the anime compared to the manga, but I've never read the manga.

It's sort of a running joke in the first volume if I remember correctly, so reducing it to one reference for the anime would make sense. But the anime still has plenty of gore doesn't it?

Yes, very much so.  And gratuitous sexuality to the point that it could be mistaken for a different genre.

I think it happens twice in the anime.

Is Psycho Pass 2 a sequel series?

I did some research, and Psycho Pass 2 is a direct sequel to Psycho Pass. Funimation has all 22 episodes for Psycho Pass, 11 Specal episodes, and 11 Psycho Pass 2 episodes on their NA site. I haven't seen any of it yet, but will fairly soon.

That's good, thanks. Go forth soldier and tell me if it's worth it.

But if it's not on Crunchyroll I might not be able to see it.

Finished Akame ga Kill.

I'd be lying if I said it was great. It's pretty decent and entertaining enough. I managed to watch episode after episode without getting bored. The last couple of episodes raised the stakes, I wish they could have done stuff like that more. Seems weird that Tatsumi is the lead while Akame is the name of the series and character. I don't feel like they built up Esdeath properly to earn a decent payoff. And characterisation in general was pretty superficial if not non-existent.

They also didn't concentrate on bad guys enough, you need to show exactly why the villain is a villain.

I also started No Game No Life, just saw ep 1.

Seems  like it has potential, the light is annoyingly oversaturated though which bugs me. I'm curious to see what games are possible if violence is banned. It looks like all card games and chess at the moment. I'm wondering if the fate of the world is going to boil down on who wins Monopoly.

Chiyo Chan!

I think of it as Japanese Seinfeld with anime schoolgirls.  No demons, though.

I decided to give this a try:

1st episode - Ah, what am I watching? Uneasy

2nd episode - Okay, this is cute, and its humor is starting to make more sense now. Happy

3rd episode - Those two teachers are funny! The entire show should be about them. LOL

That was my reaction to episode 1 too. I stopped after that.

Just up to about episode 4 of No Game no Life, nice suggestion Raven thanks. The bloom still annoys the heck out of me, but it's very funny and original and unpredictable which I like. I love the Ace Attorney jokes and when Blank said "In this or any other world, Blank shall do no work" ROFL and loved the speech when he said "We are the weak who tear at the throats of those who think themselves strong".

Seems like there is plenty of potential in this series and I can't wait to see where it goes next.

Heh, I really liked the bloom; it gave it a soft fairy tale look to the art. I'm glad you are enjoying it, GG. I really hope it gets another season soon.

Season 1 is a complete story (no cliffhanger) but there's a lot more story they can tell.

Thanks.

Last night was terrible, Crunchyroll wouldn't work. Sad

So I continued with Fist of the North Star 2, which is the new storyline after the Raoh story arc.

It's pretty crazy and somewhat hilarious. Now Ken has crossed the sea into a land of eternal assholes and is kicking the crap of all new people. Only this time he's almost trolling them by wearing these hilarious 80s shades.

The intros for both seasons are hilarious too. You remember in the 80s every cartoon intro was some rocking, power ballad type tune. FOTNS2 has the lyrics sung in English "You're a tough boy,  tough boy,  tough boy,  tough boy" and amidst the Japanese, English parts like "We are living, in the 90s, 90s, 90s, 90s"

And being 2015 now it's pretty damned funny to see this.
