One last thing, and then I'll stop, and ROBIO, I'll need your help with this one:
Cos-Play women: Who do they dress up as more? When it's up to them, of their own free-will, do they choose sexy characters or sensible ones more?
Dvader said:^ Don't say that at GS... ugh.
I'm not the one saying it. This is based on studies done on women and gaming.

Right, why didnt we have that study in that thread. But nooo 46% of gamers are women, like that has anything to do with this game that practically no woman will play.
phantom_leo said:"That's because they make up nearly 60% of players on mobile devices and are more likely than men to play mobile games, especially multiplayer games that involve social engagement such as Words With Friends and Draw Something. More than six out of 10, or 63%, of female mobile gamers play social multiplayer games, compared with 52% of men who play mobile games, according to a new survey by EEDAR, a research firm based in Carlsbad, Calif."
They count Words with friends and draw something as a video game. Thats the kind of crap I am talking about.
Let's not get started again. If they AREN'T video games, what are they then?
Just stare at Elizabeth and be happy... forget about that battle, there's no tear she can open up to let you go back and fix that one!

Thats an electronic board game. And no Mario Party is a game cause it actually has game moments. And a chess video game has computer AI, a chess game where you only play with others is just chess. Thats the difference. Words with friends is just two people playing a board game through their phone, there is no video game aspect to it. Is Scene it a video game?
Ok I'll stop but that is why I don't take any of those polls seriously.

So it's some kind of hybrid of a video and a game?

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileI...
Wait...
What...
What does that...
What is that...
I don't get it. I don't wanna get it. I don't even want to know where you found that picture and why.

Again if that is the qualification than Scene It is a video game. Is that what you think?
Dvader said:Again if that is the qualification than Scene It is a video game. Is that what you think?
Yes. What objection do you have? That it's not a game, or that it's not in a video format?

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileThat it is not a video game as we see video games. Yes in broad pointless technical terms anything that is game that has video can be qualified as a video game. But that is a pointless description as it tells you nothing except what is obvious. Anyone who follows this industry knows that the board game Scene It has no place in the video game industry, they are two different things. Same thing with Words with Friends and Draw It. Someone who just plays those games should not be included in a poll about the demographics of the video game industry, its a complete misrepresentation.

Female gamers DO exist. They just DON'T play games like Dragon's Crown (typically). Jason Schreier was championing for them for a game they couldn't care less about. It's HIS problem with the game, not their problem with the game. There ARE games out there for women. If you think that excluding them from certain genres is wrong, you are assuming they want the same things that men do, they don't. Women, by their very nature, think and behave, have wants and needs, that are very different from men. There are genres that appeal to them more, and yes there aren't enough games or female developers out there to compete in this market with the men, but, again, that's due to their nature, not because they are being excluded. What was the ratio of men to women in your computer labs and classes usually? I'm sure there were more men. The logic that is required is more of a left brain function that men typically excel in more than women...
