I think I am going to give him 2 votes.
lol everyone here thinks Silent Hill is gonna suck and they never even played it before or have any idea about it. How cute
I don't know what to vote for now!! I'll have to think on it.
^ Nah, I didn't vote for it because I think it'll suck. I know nothing about the game. It's just the most interesting game of the three.

You get a double vote since its your category.
Silent Hill.
Vader do you ever think you've lost the ability to play old games for the 1st time & kind of revert yourself into having expectations of what the standards were during the games actual time of release? I know when I play something old it can be tough to put myself in that frame of mind, especially if I just played something new & awesome.
I can easily go back to playing old 2D games with any problems, but older 3D games--even some from last gen--can be difficult these days.
I can play games from the nes-snes era fine but most ps1 -ps2 games I can't get into anymore. I remember going back to play the DMC collection and going ....... yuck. lol.

This is true as everything about those early 3D games were kind of rough. But I am a RE veteran, crappy controls and weird cameras are second nature to me. You give me a good game I will enjoy it.

Yeah, the first three chapters are a lot of fun. After that, it starts to get a bit repetititve and boring. I'm still on chapter 4-4; I need to go back and finish it someday.

By that time in the game though you can start focusing on using the different weapons, skillshots, and stuff like that.

Greg Kasavin gave The Thing an 8.4 rating & so did I. haha
I'm sure playing it now I wouldn't like it nearly as much. Plus I'm a huge fan of the flick.

The game is technical disaster. What did you guys play? Enemies literally kill themselves, they run into their own mines. Boss battles that don't even work correctly. Teammates that randomly vanish. The game is mess.
EDIT: Review was by Ryan McDonald. He wrote this After all, perhaps the single greatest motivation to play all the way through The Thing ends up being the desire to reveal all of the game's intriguing story, which is very well done and told through in-game cinematic sequences.
I don't even... I cant...WHAT FUCKING STORY?! This is the story, ready, guy lands at site, his whole team is killed, he meets new guy that tells him aliens are here. You contact your superior who tells you to go deeper to save the last squad that was there. You go deeper and everyone you meet dies or becomes a thing, you lose contact with your superiors. You get captured by a general who seems to be an alien hybrid, he has squads of men. You escape and spend the rest of the game sabatoging the dude and finally fight him when he becomes a giant tentacle monster. The end. That is not a summary, that is about how deep all the cutscenes are.
EDIT 2:
All of the characters you come across in the game are unique individuals with very distinct personalities
Which is why most of them use the exact same voice actor?! I swear one of them chaged voice actors on me after a chapter. They all say the same lines too.
EDIT 3:
The game even offers confrontations with boss creatures that force you to think and fire at the same time. Even more of these would have been great, since the few that are in the game are extremely exciting.
Dick dick dick dick dick dick dick!!!
Bulletstorm is hilarious. I'm gonna kill your dick!

GME'S LOSER PICKS
Poor GME is 0-4 in voting so far but his choices seem way better than what has been picked so he gets his own category. That said I am removing Rage from the list simply cause I dont want to play it right now and you guys will probably find a way to screw up the vote and pick that so I am removing the option.
1. Super Meat Boy
2. Sleeping Dogs
3. Silent Hill Homecoming
Dogs
Silent Hill Homecoming.
