They just don't make them like they used to. PS3 seems to fail almost as often as 360 what a crappy generation reliability wise.

It's not dead. Just sick. This happened the other day when I was playing UC3 with travo too. Must be something in that game, or to do with playing online etc... But yeah, just as I was coming out of the tower -BLINK- PS3 shuts off. Hopefully it did not cut off your game since I was hosting. I was having fun too.
I'd prefer to spend the money on games, but I am secretly (kind of) hoping it dies so I can upgrade to a larger HDD PS3 (even though I'd lose backward compatibility).

Wow you still have the old one, that thing has lasted long then. Its going to die, sorry to say.

Yeah, weirdness. I mean the last few weeks I've been running it about 8 hours a day, and then it wimps out over hosting an online match of UC3 a couple of times.
Then I knew something was wrong when I couldn't pick up a rocket launcher.We'll have to get back to it depending on your schedule. Today I have a podcast to record/ edit. I was having a good time too. Maybe next time I'll get you to host though so we can elimenate that as the cause of my problems.

I think UC has something built in, that you can hook up with YouTube, but given my fragile internet connection and bandwidth cap I dare not mess with it.
Yeah, that's the beauty of online gaming, it has the same appeal as live sports broadcasts. You never know what is going to happen.
^That's my attitude toward bowling. And anythign really. I may suck at it, but at least I'm having fun.
So thats it we are going to let this die. A change needs to happen as there are some of us that want to play.
