I cannot believe any outlet would give a GOTY to AC3. Not that I've played it but, even among those who like the series, the consensus has been "meh".

I can't believe it either, it's a huge glitchy buggy mess, with no fluidity from one part to the next. The gameplay is slow and deliberate without that smooth feeling of gliding around like the past AC's. I found it very boring with too many talky cutscenes. I'm playing on Wii U btw. I just don't see how this game based on play gets anything better than a 7. Maybe I'm missing something but there is no urge to continue playing, its blechhhhhh.

IGN gave their PS3 game of the year to Journey.... 2012 is officially the worst year in gaming history. It cannot be argued now. They gave GOTY for the PS3 to something that's not even a game.
In the meantime I'm never going to that site again. That's a god damn embarassment..
