That is like 10 fetch quests in one.
But Fetch quests in themselves are not bad, bad fetch quests were you do nothing new and go on for too long are bad. Skyward Sword had the water fetch quest and the windmill propeller and some others. But even the worst one (fetch the sacred water) was very short and quick.
Windwakers final fetch quest was just obnoxious. First you had to get all the maps, then you had to decipher them, then you needed to fetch all the triforce pieces. Also when you had the pearls you needed to go to 3 separate islands, before you opened the tower of gods. And for the third pearl you first needed to go to an island, but that was destroyed, so you needed to go back to your home island and you then got your third pearl. Most of those fetch quest were not that bad. I would argue that the pacing was good, until the triforce quest.
I need to replay it, but yeah the triforce was ridiculous. Though if you were doing all side quests you should have many of the pieces naturally.
I started to play this again. At first I was at the second dungeon and decided this game is not my GOTY. But then I got to Lanaryu and my god that area is so much better than everything else in the game. Now I think it is my GOTY again. Hero mode definetly makes things intersting, I am using potions constantly. Iga you didnt cheat and use a heart medallion which allows for hearts drops right? I am in love with the game again, should finish dungeon 4 tonight.

Of course not, I cheated by using my God like reflexes. Stop using potion, resting on chairs tree stumps and so on will regenerate your health.

There are no stumps in dungeons or in most areas.
