I am, however, displeased with the number of blobs and bats I've had to battle. Enemy variety, please. Oh, Darknut, how I miss you.
I'm also tired of starting a game, getting into combat, only to pause to admire the umpteenth jelly blob that I picked up. I could have sworn this was an odd glitch in Twilight Princess, but now it's simply ridiculous.
travo said:Oh, it definitely felt rushed which is why I'm sure we got the triforce search from hell rather than a much needed dungeon.
I heard they chopped out 2 dungeons and the remains of which can be unlocked via an action replay.
travo said:I've been very pleased with the silent realms. I was afraid they would be tedious and boring and take forever to complete. This was not the case. They were intense but fun.

I love the silent realm stuff.
Fi annoys me only when she decides to add two extra panels of reading to tell me "There is nothing else to report"
Don't tell me then, biyatch!
Fi would be so much less annoying if the text did....not.....scroll......so.......slow. And in Windwaker they definitely cut out a dungeon. The first two pearls you collected where found in dungeons, the third one was simply given to you. Also besides the triforce quest, stupid form of transportation (changing winds bleh) and the dungeons that were cut. Windwaker biggest problem was that the overwold was simply to big and empty. Or you could argue the boat was way too slow. Either way it took way to much time to get anywhere and when you got somewhere you usually found a tiny island with just a treasure chest. There was also little variety in environments everything had the ocean backdrop.
Besides that the dungeons were simpler and easy. The bosses were a joke and the difficulty was non existent.
Instead of talking about everything that is wrong with the windwaker, let's start talking what went right. It is a much shorter list afterall
Graphics and Charm
Music
Charming NPC and two towns
The final battle with Ganondorf
Seagulls
The final battle with Ganondorf
The story
The final battle with Ganondorf
The openess of the world

Is it any worse than previous Zelda games?
I don't like tilting the Wii Remote to steer. Analogue stick would be far more precise. This is needlessly inaccurate and annoying. Bleh.
Iga_Bobovic said:You point and press A, how difficult can it be?
To me, it's more intuitive to point snd press A rather than swiveling your control stick around and having to constantly realign Link.
About how long would this game be if I skip all of the upgrading and sidequest stuff (haven't done any of that yet)? I'm 15 hours in, just got to the Lake.

Don't tilt, point.

My guess is 25-30 hours.
Swiming sucks.
Anyone love the bow controls when you use the nunchuck. I think with that method it makes the bow aiming feel better cause you dont point at the screen. You kind of move the entire wiimote around and that moves the aim, it feels right cause that is a natural bow motion.
I'm tired of looking for that damn key. Bleh, I've offically become bored with it now. This must be a new record, though. I usually get bored with Zelda games a lot sooner than I did with this one. Will finish it someday . . . three years from now.
And yet another victim falls to the cursed Water Dragon. It was the getting the water fetch quest, was it not?

Yes.
