I haven't completed the game yet. I'm 43 hours in, just did the skyloft twilight zone.

I'm getting the feeling that there isn't that much to explore and do after I beat the game. Not because there is less content - 43 hours in and still haven't completed it. But I get the feeling that most of the game is designed so that you experience all the content as it's presented to you, rather than you have to go hunt it down.

Would you say that was fair to say? I've explored what little there is of the sky, apart from a few goddess cubes I don't know what I would be looking for after I beat the game. A couple of bugs?

Yeah if you are doing things as you play you will be left with almost nothing to do. Its not like the older Zelda games where there were some hearts or major game spanning quests that were nearly impossible to find. Everything is kind of in your way or has some method to easily find in this game.

Speaking of which I will 100% today as I think I have 1 more heart piece to find and one more side quest to do. BTW Iga do the heart pieces fill all 20 slots or do you have to use the medallions to fill it?

Did you guys hear of the game breaking bug. Its like Other M, certain players are having an event not trigger which basically causes the game to stop, no way to progress. So the save becomes useless and you have to start over. This is toward the end so after like 40 hours of play. What is up with Nintendo, why are they missing these major bugs. Maybe its time to allow patches cause this is totally unacceptable.

You can get up to 18 hearts. The last two are filled up with two medallions.

Twilight Princess had a game breaking bug too. This one is a bit of a mystery, because no one knows what triggers it.

Do you get anything good for catching all the bugs?

Yes you get a new gem when you catch them all. Same thing happens for fruit, plant, flowers and gears! Oh we are not talking about Xenoblade? My mistake. You get to use them to upgrade your potions or to sell them to Strich. That is all.

Wow Nintendo needs to have a patch system.

So no 20 hearts, epic fail.

Yeah I am still hoping for the mute Fi patch. Yes it is funny when she is like Captain Obvious the first four times, but after twenty times it gets a bit boring. And a faster text patch. And while we are at it, kill the fucking Water Dragon patch. Jesus what a cunt.

LOL, yes please.

I 100% as well. This game is so easy to find all heart pieces and 100%.

Time to do Hero mode.

Hero mode is going to rape me hard. It is going to be a fun though. If you find it easy, try the no shield run.

There's a 95% probability of that not happening.

I'm nearly done with dungeon 5 and it is awesomely clever.  Short, but clever.

That crippling glitch worries me. Sad. I'm 35 hours into it.

BTW, is it just me or is Pipit's mom trying to seduce me?

Also, how do you make Cawlin the short broken heart guy happy? Or is that Strich?

Travo the only known way to avoid it is to do things in the same way you progressed at the start of the game. Don't change the order of locations. That's as vague as I can be.

That is after dungeon 6.

Ok, thanks!  I'm becoming a big fan of the music now.  At first, some of the areas were kind of meh, but after spending some time travelling through certain areas again, a lot of the songs have really grown on me.  Zelda games really deliver, including their soundtracks.

Funny that the Knight Academy theme is probably my favorite at the moment. It has this sort of old school Zelda feel to it.  It was the first song I heard while playing the game and it instantly brought a smile to my face.   I wish Nintendo would release albums on iTunes. They would make a fortune.

I think the music is one of the big downfalls of this game. Even though this is the first fully orchestrated Zelda, almost no one is talking about or praising the score. Consider the reaction to the Mario Galaxy games soundtracks. The music here, despite being orchestrated is just average, outside a couple of standout tracks.

I will say this, as much as we have crapped on Windwaker in this thread,  it certainly has a great soundtrack, possibly the best.

I honestly miss the melodic music from the 2D Zelda's. The fact that OoT did not have the overworld theme is criminal.

I would not say average, but not memorable. They are going more for the atmosphere then melody, which is a shame. It feels like they are holding back too much. After Galaxy 1, 2 and Xenoblade I expected better.

No

Link Awakening has the best soundtrack and the slowest moving text. God some things never change.

I was listening to the Zelda Symphony CD last night and this morning and it definetely has an awesome set of tunes. Yeah, possibly the best like you say.

I like Wind Waker, the only problem I had was changing the direction of your boat by having to play a tune every time. And it needed 2 more dungeons.

Nintendo cut it and Mario Sunshine short because at that time they were concerned about the prolonged development times of those franchises.
