P.S. I hate the term action adventure. You could put almost all the games in that genre. I do not think that Zelda, RE4 and MGS are the same genre. Action Adventure is probably, we-do-not-know-where-we-should-put-it-so-let's-call-it-action-adventure genre.
Zelda = Action RPG
RE4 = Action Survival Horror
MGS = Boredom
Twilight Princess = goat herding/fishing/girl flirting/bug collecting/horse riding sim
Resident Evil 4 = cow and raven mutilating/baby sitting/spanish genocide/snuff movie sim

As for MGS4, with the way they ruined the ending, Galaxy is definitely better. There's nothing wrong with Galaxy, but there's something wrong with MGS4, so yeah...
And I can't count Galaxy's easiness as a flaw because MGS4 was pretty easy when you got used to it too ( (because I'm scared of Iga).

There are definitely some things wrong with Galaxy, like the game asking you to save after every fucking star. And there are things that are good, but could be better, like the power-up structure.
Galaxy is not as easy as some people claim, but it is not really that hard either. You do die alot, but the game gives you plenty of lives too and there are many checkpoint so you do not have to repeat parts of the level over again.
Man I would pay good money for a DLC that allowed you to play every level with DareDevil comet rules. And something that recorded your time, so I could speedrun better.
About Galaxy vs MGS4 I have no opinion, because I have not played MGS4 yet. But Galaxy does have on the best endings ever, the whole universe is destroyed. Not even Samus has done that!
