Yeah, I wish I could've been on - I wanted to wank on about all the SF/Tekken news. As soon as I sort out this job stuff, I'll be sure to find a way on.

I listened to the last podcast and the discussion surrounding the motivations of Sony and MS to get into the motion market, the pitfalls and the likely outcomes as explained by the panel were spot on.  It is baffling that these companies have the money to spend on this stuff, all the while understanding that they are spending this money to both save money, and make more (postponing the launch of a new cycle).

I look back and wonder what could have been when I saw SEGA make the SEGA CD and then 32X.  What if they had put that mony and effort instead on what to do with the Saturn.  they were so obsessed with "winning" the cycle that was passing them by that they lost all subsequent cycles.

Generals have said that battles are lost because armies are always fighting the last battle.

If you have not listened to the last podcast, give it a go.  It's slightly longr than usual, but fast moving.

Two notes:

= I liked how when you guys didn't have much WYBP talk you spent time on a single topic.  It happened organically in the last episode (just as with the movie talk in the cast before), but that might be something to consider for future casts.

= Maybe we should have a dedicated podcast forum with this thread stickied and an individual thread for each episode.  I get the feeling most people don't comment because this is kinda a monster thread where we both talk shop (which no one cares about) and leave comments about the show.  i could post a new thread when I upload the latest show.  Right now I post a news story (which I'd continue to do), post here and post in news.
