I'm playing Deus Ex HR. Just picked it up yesterday and have only played a very small amount but it seems very cool and I can tell I'm going to love this game.

I just got out of Detroit....I love this game. Beautiful graphics, wonderful controls, great atmosphere, good stealth mechanics.....having the option to play stealthy or aggressive is something I always love in games like this. Not sure how long the game is, but I hope it goes on for awhile. This is definitely in the running for GOTY alongside The Witcher 2 as of now.

I am almost done with my second playthrough. Nyaa

Asshole lol

LOL Yes I do enjoy games with guns were you shoot people. Right now I'm taking the stealthy approach though.

I picked up Deus EX yesterday and am enjoying it so far.   The aiming while in cover will take some getting used to because it's quite different from the usual controls.  I've just begun my first mission and everything is slowly openong up.  I wanted to go all stealthy, but I got caught and had to go all Rambo at first.  I've got to make more of an effort to stay hidden. LOL

I finally finished the first real mission and opened up the city of Detroit, not a moment too soon.  I'm beginning to love this game now that I can roam around. Sarif's building reminds me of Perfect Dark and Detroit reminds me of some SNES game...Shadowrun, maybe?

SPOILER!!

When I confront Sanders at the end of the first mission, is there a way to save the hostage or is she supposed to die? I tried one choice, she died, loaded a previous save and tried another choice. She died again and I couldn't load the save point again.

Yeah I saved her on my first try. Maybe I should be a hostage negotiator. Nyaa I think I'm nearing the time where I'll move on from Detriot. I'm really loving this game and enjoying wandering around looking for various different paths and just exploring in general. I have given up on my attempt at making my first play through a "no kill" run. I tackle that next time. Been doing a lot of hacking though and have been using most of my praxis points in building up that area for my character.

Someone needs to help me out here. I am playing and enjoying the game, and I have chosen the "Stealth" route (like everyone else it seems). It seems like I never have enough Praxis Points though. Time and again, I come across doors, panels and computers that I am not strong enough to hack. When I level up, I seem to get TWO update messages... They say something like (I don't remember exactly) Praxis Point Available and Praxis Point Earned... or something... as if it is telling me, in addition to the Praxis point I have gotten naturally, there's another one out there I can buy or find. I know there is a Limb Center in Detroit and I bought two from there, I think, but they seemed to have run out and there aren't any more available. Are they sold somewhere else in Detroit? Is there somewhere I am supposed to go to pick them up? I am confused! I found the additional one in the Limb Center already. The slow doling out of these points, I am assuming, keeps you from getting too powerful too quickly... but I feel like I am missing something!

Yeah I just increased my hacking to level 3 so there are things that are level 4 and 5 which I can't hack right now. Well I could have but I chose to spend points elsewhere. I'm just assuming that I can come back and hack them later in the game. The "praxis points" messages are just the same kind of message. When you get a point it says that you were awarded 1 praxis point then it tells you how many you have available to use. If you currently had 0 before you got 1 it would say you have 1 available but if you had 1 available that you haven't used yet then when you are awarded 1 praxis point it would then say you have 2 available.

Leo, sounds like you might be slightly further than me.  I'm sneaking in the police station and found some evidence to bribe a cop.  You say you found a praxis point hidden in the Limb center?

No problem Leo.

@Travis You can buy 2 praxis points from the clerk at the counter in the Limb centre in Detroit, I don't think there's one that you can find though.

Oh yeah that was the only place in Detroit where you can buy praxis points I think. Wether or not she restocks them later in the game I don't know. I assume that there will be Limb centres in the other locations in the game to buy praxis points from.

I'm 90% positive I found an Upgrade Pack laying around in one of the Operating Rooms.
