I'm glad I sold my day one copy for three times what I paid for it. I never liked that game.

My son bought a game with his own money for the first time.
Doubtful I'll play it too much, as I think I got everything out of the series that I needed in the first one. Still, not a bad little choice for the kiddo.
Damn, I can't remember what the first game I ever bought with my own money was now. It was definitely for the Atari 2600, but it's all a blur.
I don't know the first game I bought with my own money; it was definitely a 6th generation game since I was in middle school when the 6th gen started and I was out of high school for a year when the 6th generation ended (Wii and PS3 released).
I want to say the first game I ever bought with my own money was Rush'n'Attack. I'm not quite 100% sure, but I do distinctly remember going out to Lionel Playworld on a non-holiday and picking out that game, so I'm pretty sure I bought it. I also remember my cousin getting really mad at me for not buying Mega Man instead, but the box art was so bad I didn't really believe him when he said it was good.

This.
So many of the old SEGA CD and Saturn games are mega expensive. It sucks.

I believe it was TMNT3 The Manhattan Project for me.
The first game I ever worked and paid for was F Zero X and Castlevania 64.
