Trailer For 'Oldboy'

http://www.fareastfilms.com/newsPage/Trailer-For-Oldboy-4765.htm

The trailer has been released for 'Oldboy', director Spike Lee's upcoming Hollywood remake of Park Chan-Wook's 2003 film of the same name. The movie tells the story of a man who is inexplicably kidnapped and held prisoner for 20 years before finally being released with no explanation.

Synopsis

An advertising executive is kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his punishment, only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment.

'Oldboy' stars Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen, Sharlto Copley, and Samuel L. Jackson. The film is scheduled for release on the 25th October, 2013.

Ohh damn I forgot to talk about the Oldboy trailer, look what happens when you are not around GG. Yeah it looks pretty faithful to the original movie. I know the trailer kind of makes it seem they are changing it up but people who have seen the movie know that what happens is totally in tact and even worse than in the original.

Totally unnecessary remake but it might get some new people to watch it.

It's really weird for me watching remakes when they try and ape the original to that extent. The scene where he opens the suitcase in a field, not that good considering the suprise when Dausu opened it on top of a building. This movie looks like a fan made youtube version mockery.

The Superman & Batman film is supposed to introduce the rebooted Batman before Justice League is released in 2017.

They also mentioned a Flash movie in that link slated for 2016.

There's already a Superman Batman film, called Public Enemies. And it's pretty good.

Lots of Comicon related news today I cannot be arsed posting on Avengers 2, Guardians of the galaxy and Batman Superman etc

Review: Miyazaki's THE WIND RISES (KAZE TACHINU), A Stunning, Somber Work

It's hugely impressive that such a film could be made on this scale, and Studio Ghibili is perhaps the only company who could, or would, even attempt it. With this being such a unique feature for them it will be interesting to see where the film eventually ends up on the list of the studio's best. This is an extremely interesting film and a bold move for the animation studio. The story itself could have been made in many different ways, but never would have looked as stunning as it does by Miyazaki's hand.

Here I go again: this was already covered in Avengers Earths Mightiest Heroes very well. Are you not watching it anymore? Also the new Avengers Assemble animated series just launched.

I don't get why they're calling the next film Age of Ultron. That's a storyline that just finished a few months ago, and it was just about universally panned as one of the stupidest stories Marvel has written in years. It was utterly meaningless. I can't believe they'd turn it into a movie. Besides it's fairly close to Days of Future Past being a time travel story, so its just leaving me scratching my head.

Oh I thought it was simply a name for a movie involving Ultron. Hopefully they dont tie it into that if it sucked. And there is no way they are doing time traveling in Avengers 2.

I guess this means Infinity Gauntlet will be Avengers 3.

EDIT: I just read the summary for Age of Ultron, lol, its the exact same storyline. Its got sentinels, Wolverine time traveling, same shit. LOL

I saw there is a storyline where Ultron takes over Iron Man's suit, thats probably the route they will take. Something like Stark starts to work on a new suit and finds some space suit that so happens to be Ultron and he activates it and it takes him over or some crap like that.
