Wreck 'Em Ralph trailer, kinda like Roger Rabbit for the videogame age.  How did they get permission for all of these characters?

As far as the Nintendo characters, Wreck'Em Ralph video games will only be appearing on Nintendo consoles so that was a pretty good deal for both ends. As far as all the other characters it probably wasn't all that hard. Anytime a popular song shows up on a TV show, it starts to sell more copies through iTunes or whatever. I'm sure Disney sort of put it that way to Capcom and Namco (who seem to have the most characters on those screens). The one that really surprised me though was Q*bert. I was under the impression that the rights to Q*bert were kind of up in the air with no one really sure who owned him. I guess that got worked out at some point.

Walking Dead Season 3 trailer

Sam Raimi's Wizard of Oz remake trailer

Well, not a remake, tells the story about how the Wizard became the Wizard.

What a horrible cast. LOL Still looks interesting, though.

The new Wizard of Oz movie pisses me off something fiercely. How the hell does James Franco keep getting work? The man is just awful on every level. The idea for the movie is great, and there have been some really great Oz stories over the years in comics and other media. So I was all on board for this. . . until Franco. Schmoe. He's the Journey of actors.

People think Franco is awesome? The whole cast is horrible. He's almost the pick of the bunch FFS.

James Franco is not the one who pisses, but the overdone CGI that just looks too cartooney.  This looks too much like Wonderland for my tastes.  And how many times must  I see some CGI creature fly directly towards the camera?  Ugh.  The black and white bits looked good though.

Mark Wahlberg has actually great in a few things, though GG. So I suppose his past record could be used an excuse.

For some reason, these heroes have all British actors playing them now. How come?

"Studio Ghibli also previously stated that Miyazaki is working on a biography"

I remember this. I hope it's not. I prefer fantasy Ghibli films.
