I thought this video was interesting; the person that makes the video is a fan of Marvel's movies but he hates how all the movies made after Thor looks because they switched to digital cameras.

The Avengers was when I first noticed something was off. Even then it wasn't until I watched on an HDTV. I first watched the Avengers on an SDTV.
But because they look so flat since they don't have any true blacks, everything looks cheap and fake even though they are suppose to be doing that to look realistic; real life shadows aren't really black.
