So weird, I had a dream last night that I was watching the Superman Batman movie and TDKR powersuit battle didn't happen and I was annoyed. Also in my dream Affleck never spoke out loud. I think that was a subconcious desire.

Hayao Miyazaki Blu-Ray Collection coming this November

“The Collected Works of Hayao Miyazaki” contains each of the his eleven feature films: Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Porco Rosso, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, Ponyo, and The Wind Rises.

The collection also includes:

Yuki no Taiyo (Yuki’s Sun) — a 1972 television pilot based on a manga by Tetsuya Chiba that was directed, storyboarded and animated by Hayao Miyazaki.

Episodes 26, 27, and 41 of the 1972 anime series Akado Suzunosuk (Little Samurai), featuring storyboards by the filmmaker.

Uncut version of Miyazaki’s Retirement Press Conference

A book featuring The Great Dichotomy: Looking at the Works of Hayao Miyazaki by Tomohiro Machiyama, which “explores the themes and techniques of this revered Japanese filmmaker, and selected text from Hayao Miyazaki’s initial notes and creative proposals for the production of each film.”

The collection releases on November 17th.

I might actually get it depending on price and if I have money than.

I have most of the Ghibli films on DVD or Bluray so I wouldn't get it. Still waiting on some pricedrops actually.

I don't have any Ghibli films. I haven't even seen all of them. All I can remember is part of Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle and Ponyo. I might have seen more but I was probably too young to remember. That is why I want it so I can see them.

Oscar winner Bill Westenhofer joins the Wonder Woman production team as the VFX Supervisor

He was nominated for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

He won an Academy Award for Life of Pi and The Golden Compass.

He is currently working as the VFX Supervisor on Legendary Pictures Warcraft movie.

Dispite poor box office numbers Fox is still going forward with a Fant4stic sequel

It made 60 million worldwide and 26.8 domestically in its opening weekend.

WB got the movie rights to Nemesis from Fox. Nemesis is the creator owned comicbook from Mark Millar which was originally published by Marvel's Icon imprint.


It is weird that WB got the rights because they were mad at the advertisements asking "what if Batman and the Joker were one person?" WB didn't like their characters mentioned to advertise a competing comic.
