Damn. Vevo seems to have taken over all of MJ's videos, youtube has gone to hell. Maybe dailymotion has them.
1. Michael is able to flick a coin halfway across a room and land in the coin slot of a jukebox. Pretty fucking awesome if you ask me.
2. Michael is able to crush a cue ball with his hand, and then proceed to blow it in a dude's face that could (and would) mess him up. After doing this, he proceeds to dance away, with him getting other people to dance behind him - including the dude who got crushed cue ball blown in his face. Slightly more awesome if you ask me.
3. Michael is chatting up some ladies while a dude is sneaking up behind him with a knife, attempting to stab the king of pop and thus ending his reign. Michael sees the dude in the eyes of one of the ladies and, without looking away from the ladies, pulls out what appears to be a Magnum, shoots him with one hand, and the force of the shot/MJ's awesomeness causes him to DISSOLVE A FUCKING WALL. The awesomeness factor has just quadrupled now if you ask me.
4. Michael happens to scream, causing not only the music to stop, but also randomely makes glass explode. No reason, but that's fucking awesome if you ask me.
5. Michael Jackson, if this video is to be believed, can defy gravity. The sheer magnitude of this feat is such, that he's able to make other people around him do the same. Too bloody awesome if you ask me.
Should've been number one dude. Just saying.

You almost convinced me. Dancing zombies still win.
I saw Moonwalker in the cinema when I was kid.
My mother started clapping and shouting "Yay!"
Me and my bro dropped our heads in shame.

There is so much win in that video. Pool stick bad guy, a monkey, choreographed dance of death. Please tell me the entire game is as genius as that first level.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileYodariquo said:Hadn't seen any of these in years (some not at all). I mentioned Billy Jean on the podcast -- watching again, there is a lot less solo dancing on that street of light than I recall, so I'll give you the points on that one.
I saw a behind the scenes video on that. That was the only video the studio paid for, MJ had to pay for Beat It and Thirller out of his own pocket. The director of Billie Jean wanted no dancing in the video. MJ argued and begged to get at least one dancing scene. They added that billboard area where he dances later on when they agreed to have his moment.

Wuh-WHAT?! Do you mean to tell me you've NEVER played this game?!
You OBVIOUSLY had a Genesis, Sonic-boy... but NO MOONWALKER ? ! ?
Michael would be proud
EDIT: can't get links to work sorry
Chris Brown did a great MJ tribute on BET. The Smooth Criminal part is amazing! At the end he breaks down and cries during Man in the Mirror, cause what he sees in that mirror is a woman beater.

LOL
I refuse to watch it!
13. The Way you make me feel
Age old story, boy likes girl. Boy is too nervous to go after girl. Old man coaches boy up to have confidence. Boy goes up to girl and starts a huge song and dance routine in the middle of a busy street to win her heart. There is a record amount of pelvic thrusts in this video, Steel will approve.
12. Jam
The two MJ's. The greatest entertainer in the world, the greatest athelete in the world, does it get bigger than that. The video is simple, a basketball court where Jordan teaches Jackson basketball and Jackson teaches Jordan to dance. Honestly the two of them could have simply baked a cake and it would have been amazing.
11. Bad
For some reason I never cared for Bad. I try to put all the long versions of the videos, the long version of this one I found to be boring as hell. It was directed by Martin Scorsese, most of it was filmed in black in white. It fell flat to me until the actual music started and then it quickly becomes one of his more iconic videos.
10. Ghosts
This movie is way too long, it's over 30 minutes, it's bloated. That said I can see what Michael was trying to do, go back to his thriller roots and make something monumental. Sadly it just comes off as trying to hard and it never captures the magic of his earlier videos. There is some excellent special effects and MJ's white old dude makeup is very impressive. I don't know if it was intentional or not but the dialogue and story seems to be referencing MJ's real life troubles at the time, with everyone calling him a freak and asking him to leave the children alone.
9. You Rock My World
Easily one of the more under appreciated videos as this was his final mega video. It stars Chris Tucker, Michael Madsen and Marlon Brando. It returns to the gangster style that was featured in Smooth Criminal, it pulls many ideas from that video. It is a more subdued MJ, he was getting older, the dancing isn't as wild as normal but it is still mesmerizing. A very well done video.
8. Black or White
This was the most hyped music video of all time. I remember that it had a primetime reveal, a primetime event on a major network for just a video, crazy. It was a tad overhyped as it wasn't that great at least compared to the build up. It had Macaulay Culkin, Bart Simpson and that guy from Cheers. The face morphing thing was rather cool at the time. I still have no clue what the hell is up with the ending but it gave us a famous In Living Color skit.
7. Scream
Brother and sis finally together in one video. This is not a typical Jackson video at all and for that I enjoy it. It is extremely stylish and it almost has this 80's video vibe going for it with some funky effects.
6. Do You Remember the Time
I love this video, I don't know why exactly it's just entertaining. It's got Eddie Murphy and Magic Johnson in great roles. It is a video with a good sense of humor and has an excellent set and theme.
5. Captain EO
This was a 3D movie playing at Disney World if you are not familiar with it. At the time of it's release it was the most expensive movie per minute ever produced. It is produced by George Lucas, directed by Francis Ford Coppola and it's Michael Jackson's space opera. It does try a bit too hard, as you can tell by the first half it tries a bit too hard to be Star Wars. The movie doesn't get good until the alien queen gets on screen (she scared the crap out of me as a kid). Once the music starts and MJ does his thing the magic begins and the production value really shines.
4. Billie Jean
Its a simple video, a bit rough but incredibly iconic. Simply idea, he lights up everything he touches and it worked. One of the most famous videos ever.
3. Beat It
The orange jacket. The famous dance. It had a simple story that was executed perfectly. Some of MJ's videos were a bit overblown, this one kept it simple but still felt majestic in its own way.
2. Smooth Criminal
I know this isn't a video, it is taken from Moonwalker but it became the video for Smooth Criminal and it is incredible. Like a big budget Hollywood musical from yesteryear but with the MJ twist. The chroegraphy is incredible and some of the shots go on with no cuts, they were complex shots too. I cant believe how perfect it all came out. I love the gangster theme, I love the song and it has the famous lean. I find this video to be extremely entertaining.
1. Thriller
The greatest music video of all time. It is perfection. Incredible state of the art horror effects. A perfectly told story, it hits the music at just the right time. It has what is maybe the most famous choreographed dance in MJ history. To top it off it is entertaining from start to finish, just like any good movie. A masterpiece.
