I am so glad we all agreed that RE4 is the best GC game. End thread. Nyaa

To me its a tie between Re4 and Metroid Prime.....and always will be.
People take for granted how great Prime really was, whereas Re4 has the benefit of being on every console known to man.

RE4 for non-exclusive. It's the only answer.

Gamecube had a lot of great games like Dirt to Daytona, Mario Golf, NBA Jam, NFL Blitz.  I think Animal Crossing would still take it for best Nintendo game though. Sunshine sucked ass (sorry Raven).

I think that the problem with Sunshine is that while it had some really great levels, it also had some very bad ones which clearly lacked the level of pollish everyone expects from a main Mario game.  I have some very fond memories of playing that game, but I also have some memories from playing that game that will haunt me for the rest of my life.

That perfectly sums it up for me. I absolutely loved 40% of the game, but the frustrating parts (mostly due to camera issues) drageed the game down to 3/10.

As great as the Prime series was. I devoted more time to this game than all the Primes combined:

^That was done on the Dreamcast for me. Otherwise, I would probably have done the same.

To me it's MP2 and 3 which are undervalued. They are both awesome games and the Prime games themselves are still totally unique to themselves, like their own genre. No other game does it that good.

The problem with 2 is that it was so similar to 1, but not quite as good in every way...except that it wasn't so piss easy. After the greatest GameCube game ever, obviously people were going to be disappointed. The problem with Metroid Prime 3, was that it was a disgrace to the Prime series despite being a perfectly competent shooter.

Yes, but Pachter deserves to be disgraced. The Prime series didn't.

Not true...they did some outstanding ports to competing consoles, as well as even a few great original games here and there over the years. But their management seems to suck balls.
