Development on the new Insert Coin has been ongoing for a while now, and by the end of this weekend I'll have finished the editorial functionality on top of the already finished Forum, design and navigation.
With that I can confidently set the target launch date of the new site as November 1. This leaves basically only touch-ups before room for the next couple weeks for implementing fun new additions.
On the weekend of the 25th, I will post another update blog with the new site name and address so that everyone's ready for the transition on the 1st.
I remain open to design style suggestions, though, as I'm just not 100% happy with the current design that emulates a newspaper, but am unable to improve on it in that style.
But yeah I'd say GGWeekly should be shown a little more the center focus of it all. I have to admit the idea of any user being able to post news and then have them and others discuss about it sounds like a fresh new and addicting way of site posting.
"Syntax Error
Line: 24 character 3"
And nothing more, and that's only if you've got debugging enabled, and if you're lucky enough for it to not just say "Line 1 Character 1". Gotta love the message "Undefined Runtime Error." It will also only maintain one error in the history.
Firefox's error messages are far clearer, show the file it originated, shows the text for the line of the error, and a link to open up the file itself and jump right to the line.
You'd find it under Tools->Error Console, but I'd suggest getting Firebug not only because it's an invaluable tool in its own right, but displays the number of errors clearly on the status bar, and you can just click that to bring up the error list and info.
