Ingredients:

1.  Oats.

I find that unbranded oats (supermarket brand, healthfood etc) are much smoother and better than branded ones like Quaker's or Jordan's.  I recommend you get those over the expensive branded ones (a lot less packaging to dispose of as well).

2.  Raisins and/or Sultanas

3. Almonds

4. Walnuts (Replace by pecans according to taste ... Bugsie normally uses walnuts but likes pecans too on occasion)

5. Hazelnuts

6. Unsalted pistachio nuts (optional)

7. Pumpkin seeds (optional)

8. Half a banana

9.  Milk

Bugsie likes skimmed, but you can use semi if you prefer.

Process

Step 1.  Mix and crush the nuts.  Right, they should all be unsalted (unsweetened etc) ... just making sure.  I personally like to leave them a little chunky, but if you prefer to pulverize them it's up to you.   I mix them in a spice crusher and work my magic.  I have a metallic one but hope to get a stone one at some point.

Step 2.  Put the oats in a bowl.

Step 3.  Add the raisins.

Step 4.  Add the mixed nuts

Step 5.  Finely chop half the banana into the bowl  (what you do with the other half is up to you ... Bugsie usually eats it while preparing the coffee or something)

Step 6 (Optional).  Add sugar (Bugsie doesn't)

Step 7. Add milk and mix with a spoon.

Voila!! There you go, breakfast of the gods.

This is some seriously potent stuff.  Enjoy responsibly.

Nuts are so expensive you might as well buy the packed oats.

That's a fuck-tonne of nuts, but that sounds good (with Soy Milk).  Cereal FTW.

Honestly I was expecting this to involve more pyrex. WinkWink

Muesli should be made with brown sugar or honey rather than sugar!

I say that having never made muesli ( think). Nyaa

Yeah.  I should really add a "may contain traces of nuts" warning to the recipe just to be safe
