The Toronto Blue Jays are going to the World Series! Woo hoo! What a tense game last night but the comeback kids did it again.

Congrats. I don't begrudge the Jay's but I was rooting for Seattle as they've not been to the WS. Both good teams and a good ALCS.

HAving attended a good many Dodger games I am backing them of course, but hope for a competitive series.

"With the superheroic power of the PS5, though, that may not be the worst thing ever. Yoshida explains: "I think PS5 is amazing system in terms of quality of experience. I think the adoption of SSD was like an almost miracle."

A miracle? SSD a miracle. Really? Here's another miracle, running water. In muy house I can just turn a lever and water comes out. Incredible!

Running water IS a miracle, we just take it for granted.

I forget who said it, but we really do live better than kings did in the 19th century.

Interesting read.  Apparently a lot of the game is inspired on the darker colonisationalist period in Japanese history (not by the Brits, but by the Japanese against native minorities).

I used to love MLB but just can't bother to watch these days. However, I did enjoy a Yankees/Astros game a couple of years ago, so maybe if I attend a live event.

Wtf I've been misled on Lego Star wars the Skywalker SaGa.

No gyro aiming whatsoever.

Gameplay is just as clunky and unresponsive as before. I thought they reworked the whole system to improve this game?

Switch 2 doesn't fix this games framerate or image quality either. Lego City got a rock solid framerate. This is sub 30 most of the time. The graphics can look quite nice but is ruined by the image quality.

Need to run this through Mclassic.

Okay now im on land its not too bad. Like the free camera and open world.

BTW they just dropped patch 3 for Star wars Outlaws on switch 2.

The texture quality is significantly better. The video Im watching with side by sides look a match for the other versions now?

Yet somehow they also managed to shrink the file sizes.

It's a fun game, not tried alt-controls.

It's my favourite sport. Give the WS a try, since they've introduced the pitch clock and increased the size of the bases the games move along a lot quicker now. It took some getting used to as I was so used to reading or doing soething else while watching, now if you look down you're missing plays.

I just tried the new patch.

When the notes says significant texture improvements, they're underselling it. The textures already looked fine before but the upgrade seems massive. Everything is now more detailed and sharper.

It gives the impression that the whole games image quality is higher too. I wouldn't be suprised if the textures are now equal to the ps5 version. I wonder if the demo features the new textures?

Im finding it hard to play Lego Star wars now as the same locations compared to Outlaws look poor.
