My Switch 2 case arrived.



It has a hard front, padded back, has a side slot for a bottle or accessories.

A security slot for your wallet.

A combination lock built in, various inside compartments and a USB pass through for external charging.

I was reading that article about Switch 2s fast charging, then read this:

"Charging time is another curious point. With 36W input, you’d expect quick top-ups, but the company still says it takes about 3.5 hours for a full charge. That’s slower than some phones charge in 2025. Maybe they’re playing it safe. Maybe it’s a thermal design issue. Or maybe we’re just spoiled by phones. It’s hard to say."

What's going on here? My phone has the same 36w fast charging capability but charges in an hour.

Oh shit, I think, my phone didn't come with a charger, I had to buy a fast charger? Is Switch 2s battery fast charging but the power brick isn't a fast charging power brick?

I'll be okay as I have the right usb c fast charger already.
