Blackout drunk purchases?
Ice cracks underneath you, most trucks will just sink.
There are no watchtowers to uncover the map so you're driving into the most remote places.
The paths that they mark are covered in rocks everywhere. Rocks are the hardest thing.
There are bottlenecks everywhere.
I drove across an entire map to get to the adjoining map. Spent hours trying to unlock the garage. Finally got it unlocked then drove off a cliff and tried to recover to garage. Turns out the garage was built but not activated so I was sent to the garage in map 1.
Now I have to face another brutal drive back to map 2 to try and reach the garage again.
Fun to mess around in. There's some really great new maps in there.
One thing I was kind of amazed at last night was the ambition of the environments on Switch. They are huge and complicated and intricately built.
You can see, just barely how they've tooled the environment to subtly draw you to certain areas and traps.
I never would've thought a trucking game would have been for you, GG. Glad you're getting a lot of enjoyment out of it.
Nah, those are usually bought on itch.io
Most likely Steam sales.
My weekend gaming time consisted of nothing but Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak. To the surprise of absolutely no one I’m sure.
I ended up playing Athena, the old SNK arcade game (which was part of the PS Mini's collection). That game had some really great ideas considering how old it was, but dear God it's practically impossible. I spent about an hour with it and I couldn't even make it to the end of the first world.
Thanks Raven. That's a good idea using trackball and also having a more sensitive mouse hooked up at same time. On the keyboard I'll hold off until I get everything instaleld and can figure out where I'll be sitting. I have an el cheapo wireless to use in the meantime.
All I played this wekend was Dave the Diver. I HAVE to be playing it wrong, I am a stupid number of hours into it and still on the first chapter!
It's basically an open world exploration game. Breath of the wild with no combat and dungeons.
I started The Callisto Protocol and wasn't really feeling it so I began Dragon Age: Inquisition.
This weekend I Popeye (NES). I never really got into Popeye before but it's charming and fun. Shame it'll likely never be officially rereleased.
I also been playing Balloon Fight (NES), Donkey Kong (NES), Stunt Race FX (SNES) and Vs. Excitebike (Famicom Disk System) on NSO.
Yesterday, I was messing around with OBS and Retroarch and recored a couple of my short gameplay clips for fun:

Never heard of Stunt Race FX, which is odd as polygonal games on SNES usually got decent coverage.
Balloon Fight is great. I love it and used to play it regularly on NES and later Wii. For some reason it's been a couple of years since I last played it though.
So what is everyone anticipating with the Direct tomorrow?
I didn't know there was a direct tomorrow. I expect more Wii U remasters.
