Much blurrier than Doom.
It's a harsh start for anyone who hasn't played the first. I do, on 36p but haven't been bothered to start it and being tied to one tv.
They do some form of recap but it's piss poor and disorientating.
Then you play for an extended period in a wheelchair. It just doesn't feel fun having your movement restricted, but I guess that's the point.
Gyro controls are decent but not as smooth as Doom.
I never really got the story complaints. Metroid has never been about story, so any attempt to add life to it was welcome. I wouldn't say it was good or bad either way.The game was cool, I liked the perspective shifts and pace of movement.
