All Cyberpunk for me.

Messing about in photo mode is fun when you learn you can turn off collision detection and fly your camera inside someone's nostril.

Also if you turn up the camera speed you can soar to the skies for huge statues and cityscapes.

This game sometimes boggles the mind how everything is seamless.

I'll be driving about, then enter a skyscraper, get the elevator to the top, go inside some fancy ass apartment, then out onto the open balcony with swimming pool and look down to the street where I just came from.

It's something we have in real life that we take for granted, but occasionally I'll remember how games never used to do this and its amazing.

Every shop, underground area, every building, apartment, garage, open plain is all seamlessly connected.

So Virtous who is co-developing Metal Gear Solid Delta Eater did a Switch 2 focused interview.

And some are saying its a soft confirmation of Delta Eater on Switch 2.

They seem to have the devkits and said that any 60fps Xbox Series S games should easily port to Switch 2.

And that 30FPS Series S games should port well if they are GPU bound.

They say CPU games will be trickier but will require more optimisation.

Well I had a fun morning. a skunk somehow got into my fenced in backyard and sprayed my dog in the face lightly. I washed her face best I could with de shunk shampoo, which worked quite well and I got her into her groomer for a more thorough de shunk bath. Dogs! Argh!

Don't know if I could cope with a long haired dog that rolls in mud anytime it sees it.

I watch one on YouTube who rolls in pig shit and swims everyday in a fetid pool.

Those cheapo Powerbanks I ordered came.

Now I have in total 45'000 mah of portable battery life.

Switch 2 battery is 5220 mah and gives 2 to 6.5 hrs.

So I have 8.6x as much extra battery over Switch 2.

So I've got between 17 to 56 hours of extra battery life using Nintendo suspicious figures.

And that figure doesn't include the actual battery already in switch 2.

The problem? The 20'000 mah battery can't positively charge switch 2 whilst playing it. Need to test the two 10'000 mah ones.

Otherwise I'll have to use one battery to feed the one that does actually positively charge it.

My dog is finally stinky free. My house, on the other hand, still has a mild smell even after cleaning, deodorizing and opening the windows. Sad

Note to self: ALWAYS check the yard before letting the dog outside in the morning.

Speaking of battery life, I found out yesterday that my Pixel 6a phone may have a defective battery. It's been working just fine, but Google is sending out a mandatory system update tomorrow. If mine has a defective battery, my phone's battery life will be signifcantly reduced until I can get the battery replaced for free.

I may ditch the phone and go back to Motorola; I never had any issues with their phones.

Played this P switch mission in Mario Kart World.

You had to dodge whales in the ocean. Could have been epic.

When the last whale crashed down it impacted the ocean surface, sending out huge waves with physics.

Felt like Wave Race.

I feel like we need a new wave race based on MKW ocean bits.

I just learned my new battery has trickle charging.

I googled it but I'm still confused. Why would you trickle charge headphones and smartwatch s as the manual says?

Lots of people leave their electronics on a charger overnight. Most lithium batteries fully charge in a couple hours; leaving it on the charger for longer will reduce the battery life. Trickle charging allows you to keep it on a charger all night without it fully charging until morning.

Eh.  It wouldn't be the same anyway.  Have you played WaveRace recently?  I played some WR: Blue Storm a few months back and while still great, it's brutal.  If they'd make a new one, the challenge would be severely dumbed down.

Still, I absolutley loved the GameCube version.  It's a very unique experience.

Few things, Switch 2 joycon HD Rumble 2 is real.

I was driving next to rampaging Bison in MKW and I could feel the patter of their feet.

And just now I was next to a generator in Cyberpunk and it felt like you were resting your hands on it as it rumbled and chugged along.

And in battery news the new powerbanks I got have failed as I feared to charge switch 2 while playing it.

So only the 5000 mah one works as intended. Crazy that big brands like Anker and Ravpower won't work.

I've been looking at the box of the one that works and it's fast charging and has a PD 20W type C output.

I think this is the difference.

It might be the actual cables so I'll test those. The powerbanks still charge when switch 2 is in sleep or powered off.

Thanks I may use it for that.

For someone who about this time last year would not touch "rougue-likes" or "rougue-lights" with a ten foot pole I've been playing Slay the Spire, Rogue Legacy, Monster Train and Vampire Survivors.

Will Phil Fogg ever play a full length game again?

What do you think of the Yoshida story? Sad state of affaris for the helth of gaming I think.  Or maybe we'll just play games like I have been this week.  To invoke the Dead Kennedy's, "The AAA took my gaming away".
