I saw a 2hr YouTube documentary on the game. The reason they never a "new" 2D Mario game was because they felt they did everything they could in a 2D platformer.
So the New, Super Mario games were just retreads.
I enjoyed the New SMB games, but Nintendo should have mixed up the art styles more.
I enjoyed NSMB but I just felt like they could have easily created new themed environments.
Not just this repetitive, classic theme.
Anyhow, Skyward Sword handheld on the OLED both looks and sounds awesome. The colours are so good it's like raw sunshine being beamed into my skull. Almost like light therapy.
The speakers sound so good when you have that Orchestral score behind it.
Makes me want Xenoblade 1 now. And Metroid Prime.
Haven't tried the handheld stick sword controls yet. That worries me.
Other than that, they could have made the text size bigger. Also I always turn my Z lock to toggle in Zelda games. Can't do it here, no option.
I'd also prefer to hold down the L button to attack so I could freely move the camera with the right stick.
Hogwarts Legacy is so good, with so much to do. Its really overwhelming at first with so much to learn and a really complicated castle map. I'm also competing for time to actually play it with the other members of my house. All four of us have started a game and each of us chose a different house to join.
There are tons of spells to learn, well about two dozen. I'm just now learning how to create potions and love creating my own healing items. The castle has a crazy amount of secrets, but theres so much more to explore outside the castle.

been playing this too, it's really well done. The care for the source material comes through in every facet, feels like the Arkham games in that regard. I'm loving the secrets everywhere. Little puzzles to solve, so much to see and do. I should my nephew and he had a blast just interacting with random things. This game feels magical. I haven't even gotten the broom yet. I don't think it does any one area exceptionally well but it does it all in a quality way and nails the world building.
So I started my new job at the children's hospital, mostly just orientation this first week but got to see a few kid patients. It's going to be a change for sure but so far everyone there is very nice to work with.
I had an adventure ordering the PSVR2 cause my order got canceled due to some strange reason with my card. I tried to reorder and it said I reached the limit for this product, YOU canceled it! Sony support was zero help. Eventually I needed to change the address to get it to order again, it better go through this time. I'm excited for this high end VR and GT and RE8.
Also playing Metroid Prime which is glorious on the switch. The more I play the more I appreciate just how well done it is, looks so damn clean and nice.

Can you play it like Bully? Pulling random pranks and putting the beat down on random students before flying off in a madcap chase on your broom?
DVADER new job sounds fun. Kids are fun and random. Metroid sounds great, is anyone using the gyro pointer controls?
If you played Layers of Fear, you'll be happier with this. You're a detective, you get locked in a apartment with a murderer on the loose you have to track down. You have to investigate crime scenes and dead bodies. Use computers, hack things. You have epic horror experiences and there's a decent story brewing underneath. It's also very atmospheric.
I'd play it on a more powerful console, but I'm okay with how it looks on switch handheld, not tv.
It feels a bit like a first person Blade runner game.
Love the game used to play as a kid in a sweet shop. But the image quality isn't great here compared to other older games.
Are the other Johnny turbo arcade games like this?
Getting used to having to hold down R to move the camera around. Find myself to using the ZL re center button instead.

Good luck on your new adventure, Vader.
Raven:
Be suspicious of whoever joined Slytherin.

Happy to report that Observer is a solid buy.
