No real surpises on the Sony and MS conferences. Looks like MS had a better one from the recaps. I was expecting them to drop the TV hardware from the XBO with a slight case change as a phase-in SKU with no price drop but a bundle of Mastercheif Collection as the new default.

But really the only surprise was backward compatibility for XBO and for Sony confirmation of the new CODominance and FF7 remake (which while everyone appreciates now everyone will hate when it's released).

Kickstarter for Shenmue 3? Bitch PLEASE.

Really? That's all? They can't even fund it themselves? So what is it a PS4 exclusive?

My enthusiasm is obviously tempered because I don't own these new consoles, but then the games they are showing aren't exciting enough to tempt me to buy the new consoles in the first place. Guerilla has been making 7/10 shooters for years, I bypassed the PS1 era and FF has never meant anything meaningful to me. I'm sick to death of the many, manly sequels to shooters on Xbox.

When I watch these conferences only the indie stuff appeals to me, like Cuphead and Unravelled. I'm so over the super manly mega AAA epics. I want bright, breezy, creative and super fun looking, colourful games.

AND WHERE THE FUCK IS BANJO KAZOOIE 3?
