PREVIEW: IS QUANTUM BREAK STUCK IN THE PAST?
"Don't be fooled. Over the last fourteen years, Remedy has only ever made one type of game: third-person shooters with reality bending mechanics bolted on the top."computerandvideogames.com impressions gamingeek
I've mostly been playing CoD: Ghosts with some Pinball FX 2 and Diablo III in preparation for Ultimate Evil Edition which is now only a mere 2 days away. Get hyped!
I haven't played much this weekend. Just a tiny bit of Fallout 3; I restarted it over from the begining in an attempt to builld a better character, which I succeeded in doing, but the game still frustrates the hell out of me.
I also played the Sim City 5 demo. The city size restrictions are laughably small (WTF, Maxis?), but it was really cool seeing the tiny Sims actually assembling each building. Unfortunately, my god-awful Intel HD Graphics card would only run it at 720p, and on the lowest possible settings. *sigh* I need a new PC.
Glutton for punishment, I am. Despite my crap PC, I just bought Sim City 5 from Origin for $20. Even on the lowest settings, it's still a fun game. Maybe I'll upgrade soon.
Yes....Silent Hill 1 & 2 are by far the best games in the series. SH3 was great too, but didn't hit me anywhere near as hard as the first two games. Then it went downhill after that. I'm hoping the new game takes what was great about the first two games and does it in a more modern way, that doesn't include explosions and action sequences.
I haven't played much after finishing The Last Of Us.....fucked with Watch Dogs a bit, but I need to get back to Ninja gaiden 2 and Dead Space 3...finish those up.
Comparison to the 680, which is the card I have. I got my card almost 2 years ago now, and mine is actually a 4gig 680 so its better than this one here. But the 680 line seems to smoke the 750 line for gaming. The I3 is a step behind what you want at this point, and the DDR3 isn't the best either. I would guess the PS4 is at least as good as this, in which case I would give the advantage to PS4 just for ease of use and the Network community.
If you want a good gaming PC at this point you really want at least a Core I5, 16gigs of RAM, DDR5, and I highly recommend a 1tb SSD. SSD makes such a huge difference on the PC because it has to do so much more than a console.

They will start releasing every six months, then every three. In 2016, expect to see AC6, AC6.2, AC6.5, AC6: Zombie Desmond's Revenge!

Played a ton of P.T. and Xmen Legends 2 which I just beat. Only took like 10 years for that one.
Feature: HD Remasters That Would Be Perfect for Wii U
Yes....I'll take all of them.
Why Silent Hill 2 is still the most disturbing game ever made

Here's my confession: I've never played a Silent Hill game.

Me neither. Don't plan to either.
Are you guys scared?
Nope, just missed out on the early games and didn't want to start the new ones without experience the first three
Thanks, Edge.![Happy](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-smile.gif)
Yeah!![Nyaa](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)
You're not missing anything not playing the newer games. The last good one was in 2003.
No problem!
