It's a toss up between OoT and Mm with TP a close third. Majora dares to be quite different from any other Zelda even till this day. It has such a dark, creepier tone. I think that sticks with me more than anything.
Such trolling BS. So if puzzles, actions, dungeons, bosses is not what you judge a Zelda game for, what do you judge it on.
I love Majora's Mask. To me it and Ocarina were basically on the same level, but yeah I do love the dark vibe MM had. That's why I'd love to see a remake on Wii U. Plus, it had some deep gameplay ideas with the time quest shit that could be much better used on modern hardware...take advantage of the internal clock.
It is. There is no question, it is everything Nintendo learned about 3D Zelda at the time put together into the ultimate Zelda game. But noo, it looked too much like OoT, oh no.If TP came out first it would be considered the greatest game of all time just like OoT is.
I used to love MM, one of my top games of all time. Then I played OOT 3D and then Majora back to back and Majora feels very barebones compared to ocarina. I didn't feel that at the time, but when you play them one after the other it really shows.
The fuck is this?
I think Redheads are hotter than brunettes but I'd plow the fuck out of either one.
I try not to think of it that way, because you could say that about most franchises newer installments even if they've lost a step.
For example, you could say if Ass Creed Revelations came out before Ass Creed 2, then Revelations would be much higher praised than it is (excluding the stories, of course).
I dont know what you speak of cause TP had the largest scale battles in the series probably. Fighting a dragon on the highest point of all of Hyrule, while hookshooting through the air, grabbing onto the dragons back flying around. Compare that to a dragon that slowly pops out of holes of lava in OoT. Come on, It is not even close to the scale of TP or level of spectacle.
A gigantic skeleton which you battle while rail gliding up a tower, where else do you see anything like that.
OoT bosses are fantastic but again TP is takes everything done before and makes it better. The Ganon fight is by far the best, three stages, all different kinds of gameplay. All the best aspects of all ganon battles of the past mixed with horse back combat, wolf changing combat, it made use of everything.
As for WW yes the bosses were huge in size but easily the worst. They have one way of hitting them, just one, and the easiest most obvious way too. They dont even have the change up, you know where the pattern changes after the second hit so that the third hit is actually different. Take the forest boss. All you do is boomerang the strings, then run in and slash, if you are quick enough it could be dead the first time you knock it down, that is pathetic. And if you do mess up it just repeats, there is no new attack, no change in pattern. All bosses in WW are like this. Compare that to anything in TP where many bosses have two forms let alone different patterns for those forms. WWHD could have created an actual hard mode, where they fix these real core issues, I love all the fixes to make it more playable, that is great. But personally making the gameplay better is more important. Though I have seen by many online they rather play a game that is not frustrating in any way than one that is better designed.
I dont think that is true. I think AC2 is clearly the better designed game.
Fuck me man....I've been trying to play Haze today...I had got like 5 levels in awhile ago and wanted to see it done even though it sucks ass, just cuz its a Free Radical game.
But fuck, this game is horrible.....and horribly broken. I've come to a part where I'm pretty sure the game has just glitched out and I can't continue....I even tried reloading the entire level and it STILL doesn't do what its apparently supposed to.
I can't believe how bad this is....Free Radical were better than this?! It looks like an early Dreamcast game and plays like a really bad PS2 shooter...I think Killzone 1 is better. I guess I may have to give up.
Did they have no budget on this? I just can't believe this crap. No wonder they went out of business.
Its still my all time favorite but it is the shortest 3D Zelda. It is still the most genius of the bunch, I saw a video saying that MM came from a challenge of Miyamoto to Aunoma. That was supposed to be OoT HDD for that perhipheral that never came out. Aunoma said why remake OoT, lets make a new zelda. Miyamoto said you want to make a new zelda, I give you a year, good luck. The time aspect was done cause that was a big feature of the HDD, to save time based content. So they went with that, the HDD got canceled and they reworked the game into MM.
Amazing, Aunoma needs that pressure again, well to come up with a concept, give them time to make dungeons. There really isn't anything like it.
My way of saying I dont think FC3 is all that great. But Blood Dragon, now that was incredible, that should have been the whole game.
He can't ever have that pressure again because Miyamoto will never be regarded as he was in 1999 again. At this point, Aunoma has BECOME Miyamoto. Or as close as he can be. So...we need a new Aunoma now.
I disagree.
Yeah we do, we need a new Zelda lead, or at least a side game where a new guy can prove himself just like aunoma did with MM.
Brofist.
I say let Itagaki have a go at it, now that they're all chums.
LOL. Itagaki cant even finish a game anymore. He has fallen so badly.
Well you need money to finish a game. Nintendo will give him money.
Please dont say you are serious. Itagaki has no clue to make a zelda game. He should come in as combat consultant though. Imagine if Link fought like Ryu.
