Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for $20 on Wii U/3DS eShops
When I bought that game for Wii U, it was $60 digital, so I bought it retail for $43. Now, two weeks later, it's $20 digital.
And you know pirate kids don't need to learn how to write or spell. They just need to know 3 letters.

BTW, why does the touchscreen say I can select items by tapping them, but when I do that, nothing happens?
I dl the demo today....and saw the sale price. I was tempted.
How's the 3DS version compared to WiiU one? Gimped?
As far as I can tell from the 3DS demo, they are identical games. Visuals and controls take a bit of a hit on 3DS, though.
The game is pretty slow to start. Most of the early missions are more hunter/gather stuff. It takes a couple hours until you really get started on bigger missions.
And 3DS version's controls aren't quite as good, unless you have that circle pad pro controller for it. Really they're not supposed to be too much of an issue except for the levels where you have to swim.
EDIT: Oh I probably should mention that swimming is kind of important in the game. Swimming isn't involved in many missions, but the two most important ones to the game's story involve it.
Well, I finally figured out why I can't select items from the touchscreen. You must sheath your weapons to select items. I can select an item using the L button while fighting, but not from the touchscreen? WTF?

Then we went outside to watch Motley Crüe! Which I will talk about in a separate post.
So I was at a Motley Crüe mini concert. This was my first ever rock concert. Rock isn't really my thing, most of my knowledge of Crüe comes from Crüe Ball (the genesis pinball game , so great) and that most of the band banged Pam Anderson.
But it you know what watching a rock band play live is pretty amazing. You appreciate the musicianship much more. It's just them , no stupid lip singing, no shitty autotune, just guys rocking out. And they sounded amazing! This is kicking off their fair well tour where they play their hits. The crowd was hyped, there were tons of rocker chicks and dudes around, it was badass. I feel more manly just being there.
Oh shit I might buy.
