Bad short-term (like for a day because investors are jumpy and this looks like Nintendo doesn't know what they are doing), but good long term, because if Nintendo did fix everything "wrong" with the 3DS it would sell even better. EDIT: assuming this was to be true of course.

If you are trading through one of the retail websites (like Scottrade) , it's easy, you just sell the stock and the excess money holds in your account or you can transfer it to your bank. It's an easy way to make money if you have money, but you have to know the companies you trade in extremely well.

My foray into game investing didn;t work out so well.  I bought into ERTS.

I got distracted. Over that time Guitar Hero and COD happened.

I have been looking at 5 yr charts for most game companies and almost all of the game had a huge drop in 2008 and have not recovered. I guess that was the crash, well all of them are now around 20 when many used to be in the 50s.

Also EAs chart is almost identical to Take-Twos. That merger thing destroyed both stocks.

You were right about Xenoblade, the side quests get better, the more and more I did the more I had to return and follow up on quests with multiple objectives. I just wish the NPCs were chunkier and larger and had a zelda style camera swoop and zoom when you talk to them

I know I shouldn't laugh, but lightning hitting a billionaires tropical mansion and burning it down? That's gold.

It seems like the best time to buy is when the share prices falls sharply, probably because of exagerrated concerns over a company product.
