Well if you wanted to get an upgraded refined version of the game and you own a PS3 you can pick up NG Sigma for next to nothing these days and have the native HD support while having the refinements of an extra few years of polish. Having both versions original Xbox and Sigma I would have to say this would be your best bet. Though the the original Xbox version upscales nicely to HD it's not the same as Simga which I might add is one the only games on PS3 with native 1080 P support. Oh BTW which ever version you get it's not going to be easy on any setting.
Kojima to make suprise video interview at the Konami conference.
Famitsu also says shock announcement for Kojima Productions with pre-E3!?
With just over a week left until the release of InFamous 2, early reviews are already starting to make their way online (probably to get out of E3's way).
First to the plate is Meritstation, which gave inFamous 2 a 9/10 score, saying that "Sucker Punch has gone a step beyond what they created with the first game".
As well as creating "a great sandbox" to play in, the review praises Sucker Punch for delivering "a great story", "an improved Karma system" and support for "user-created content".
IGN says inFamous 2 "is one of PlayStation 3's best and a must-play for fans of the first game". It awarded the game 9.0, saying it's "a rock-solid third-person action game" that overcomes its "niche" subject matter with "an incredible story, great characters, meaty gameplay and - above all else - a string that effectively ties everything together".
In a contrast to IGN's comments, GameInformer's reviewer says he found himself "disengaged with the story" and was "enjoying the experience solely for its amazing open-world superhero fights" instead. According to the review, inFamous 2 "sacrifices its narrative flow for more fantastic elements" which means "it just ends up being more about the action and random moments than Cole's journey." It gave the game 8.75.
Multiplayer.it has awarded InFamous a 88 review score and describes the PS3 exclusive as "a compelling game with improved and pretty graphics", but points out that it "lacks the perfect balance between action and platform sections".
GamePro's review in a nutshell says "InFamous 2 is a superhero-themed sandbox game that has the unenviable task of following up a beloved title. While technical and design choices make this a bit a disappointment, some great set pieces, fun powers, and memorable battles still make for an enjoyable ride." It's stuck a 3.5/5 on the game.
inFamous 2 hits shelves on June 10 and will be available in three different packages; the regular standalone game, a Special Edition and a Hero Edition.

Wow that Rayman game looks amazing!
Sony: No clear NGP competitor
Well so much for Sony being humble for the immediate future. God I'd love to see Nintendo just replay with, "maybe.... but at least we WEREN'T HACKED!!!!"
My penis is so hard right now.
Darkness 2 looks really good.

Witcher 2 coming to 360 in November...great news for you Console only assholes! Still, how can you miss out on the 1st game, which was incredible as well?
Mass Effect 3 looks totally badass. Can't wait to "finish" the series.
Awsome on Witcher 2 !! My pc can't play it ! 360 bb yea!!!
I knew Witcher 2 would be coming to consoles simply because they already have the gamepad controls mapped out in Witcher 2, unlike the 1st game. I wonder how it will hold up graphically? This game is a fucking BEAST. 1st game I've played that really pushes my PC.
Is it just me, or do the characters that make up the world of Witcher 2 feel much more REAL than pretty much any other game out there? Not just main characters, but even the common folk and the way they interact and go about their business....it feels so much better in this game than any other RPG, or open world game that has tons of NPC's onscreen that all feel lifeless. People in this game really FEEL like they're there.
It's just you I think, it didn't seem much beyond something like Gothic II to me, though (on occasion, in other areas they're fairly static too) they have more schedules and of course far superior graphics. Still, in Gothic II they also went to bed at night, worked their shops in the day, smiths hammered on their anvils, people sat around and chatted, they yelled at you for barging in their houses, attacked you for stealing their shit, stopped selling you stuff if you did something against them (smacked them around or stole their shit) etc. And they had the same separation of named characters you could interact with more (for quests or vendors or whatever) and random "citizen" "guard" "whatever" nameless characters that had far less to say and were all very much alike. You could even test it similarly by going to a bed and sleeping until dawn, noon, dusk, midnight or similar. So yeah, it was more primitive in some ways but more interactive in others (nobody tells you anything for stealing their stuff in The Witcher 2, they just let you empty their houses unless it's some stealth set piece quest). And the game lets you circumvent such features by having sleep spells that give you some time to steal shit without being discovered or spells that make people forget shit so you can smack them around, rob them blind, then use that spell when they get back up and they will still let you buy from them, give you quests, or whatever else as opposed to just calling you a thug and reporting you to the authorities (if there are authorities there).

Papo & Yo announced for PSN
Minority has thought up something rather interesting for their partnership with Sony's Pub Fund. Papo & Yo is a puzzle platformer, due out in early 2012, and a journey of friendship between a boy, Quico, and his best friend, Monster. Sadly it seems that Monster has a rather serious problem… he is addicted to poisonous frogs. It is your quest to find a cure and save your friend.

After Monster chows down on a frog, he becomes your worst enemy, adding a rather unique dynamic to the game's puzzle solving. There are times when you will need to use both his good and bad side to further the quest for a cure. Monster's mood is also directly related to the world you are in. When he is happy everything is bright and sunny, but when he is mad it becomes dark and dreary.
I for the life of me cannot call the game Papo and Yo. When I see the title I automatically read it as Papo y Yo. Once I see Papo I am in spanish mode and the and becomes y. Plus it sounds a million times better in spanish
Papo y yo!
