Budget has been considered around 60M. Even though resources are still being spent on it as release dates keep being pushed back, I doubt the overall budget is affected in a considerable way since most of the work is probably finished already.

However, the fact that Sony is actually losing money each day that passes without the game being released can't be put aside.

It reminds me of those high-price hotels in Vegas. Or Louis XIV. Or Shaq's mansion/ compound in Florida.  It's just so amazingly, irresponsibly extravagant.  I respect it.

Not newsworthy but interesting still. Hideo Kojima tweets about his next game.

It's a day one rental for me. I have no doubt that it'll be an excellent game, but I'm concerned that like the other DKC games it will be fairly short and a little too easy to justify for a full priced purchase.

Wasn't this just that shooter where Grasshopper are only providing the creative side and letting this hungarian dev actually make the game? And isn't it just for a downloadable game? It's not like this Hungarian millionaire has offered them long term financial stability.

No on both counts.  At Gamescom there was a new announcement of a multigame publishing deal with them.  The games won't be retail, only digital.

From what  read, Grasshopper just work on the creative side, handing over artwork and script etc and let the Hungarians make the actual game. And digital only is not a plus for me.
