Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileThe only problem with that is what I'm interested in is different to other poeple here. I wouldn't have posted the Winterbottom story which a few found interesting for example, as I didn't really know anyone was interested in it.
I'll at the very least definitely try to post seemingly more interesting news, though.
Yeah, now you'll be spoiled for a while. I heard you say on the podcast you thought ammo was an issue in RWii4. I never found that to be an issue. I went through the game at my usual plodding pace though, so maybe I was finding more of it.
Seriously? I was not expecting much from it.
It's Kamiya, how can you not expect awesome.
Anyway its a lot like DMC, it has the same mix of swords and guns. Ground and aerial combat. Moves that can be canceled at any time. Combos that rate you on style as well as chains. It has real time weapon switching, only two in the demo, the trailer afterwards shows many other weapons (some DMC in nature). The difference is that the enemies seem much larger in scale, in fact the game itself seems to have GoW like epic scale moments.
I am very excited for this game.
Well, it wasn't really too much of a problem for me, but I did feel I was finding less than when I played through the GCN game. Aside from the very first village scene I never ran out of ammo, just handgun ammo was low and was running out of that throughout the game. From what I heard on the Euro podcast, the original PAL version may have been modified from the original NTSC version, and that translated to the Wii version -- I can't confirm that though. It all may just be in my head since it's been years since I beat it straight.
I'll also note your placement of it as your top game of all-time spurred me to specifically find a copy of the Wii edition. Well worth it.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileI didn't really have an issue with the numbers, but the games. Not "missing some games" but missing the entire list. I don't think any of the games on the list, even in America, would make the top 10 all-time.
---
Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileYes they would. I am pretty sure GTA SA is the best selling US game of all time.
I am talking about non bundled of course, which this list is about. Bundled games don't count.
(Actually it would probably be Pokemon if you add Red/Blue/Gold together.)
Ruling out bundles would likely get it in the top 10, but not top spot. I'm almost positive that would be Pokemon Red/Blue. Meanwhile, there's also Wii Fit. Wii Play. Super Mario Bros. 3 perhaps. I forgot some as well from my earlier list. The Sims is possible, Nintendogs as well.
---
Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileLook at my edit. Yeah Pokemon would be first. Nintendogs would be up there as well, then probably GTA SA.
Wii Play can go to hell. Wii Fit will probably get there. SMB3 was under it. Sims, well it depends on the expansions, I dont think Sims alone sold 9 million, but its close. NSMB and Mario Kart DS would probably make that list too.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileJust finished an epic 3 hour Uncharted 2 night with Steel and Solid from RoF. This game is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good. I am always looking for that alternative to the FPS competitive multiplayer scene, I was hooked on MGO for a while, I even liked RE5 versus. This game is the one I have been waiting for, this is THE third person shooter multiplayer experience I have always wanted.
Also the co-op is fantastic. Best of all its totally separate from the main game. This is what RE5 should have done.
I can't wait till tuesday!
I'm having this flown to me as soon as it comes out. I've not been hyped for a game for many years, so I'm clearing my slate. Just 7 more stars to go in SMGalaxy and I'm almost done with the Conduit. All hail the Drake!
Glad that you thought it worth it. I was not expecting to like the Wii edition at all and bought it only as a collector... but man, what a game. Now that I am playing the Conduit (which is far from perfect), I'm convinced that the Wii is the best format for shooters. It has the precision of a mouse, but the character movement that is best enabled by an analog stick. Reloding by shaking the controller, or in the case of the Conduit throwing a grenade with a subtle shake of the nuncheck -- it just feels the way it should.
And yeah, I was light on ammo in the first village, now you mention it.
Shoot me a friend request Aspro. Would love to play some Co-Op with you. ID is Galea1337
Also cannot wait to get some Uncharted 2 on. Might review it for the show I work on.
