Here's a serious question: Is everyone in favour of the sarcastic big news? I've long been undecided. I like it in the sense that it's part of the overall silly nature of the site, yet as a programmer, I don't like data being incorrectly labeled.
Hmm, that sounds like an interesting idea. I'm all for trying it out.

It's not an idea, unless you're referring to not marking stupid stories as important. Each week we have a couple pieces of news such as the Hannah Montana PSP that's marked as Big News right now. I'm questioning whether or not this is appropriate to be doing.

I like it! Makes the news more interesting to browse through as well.

Question for ALL of you: How is it practically everyone was gung-ho about Little King's Story late last year and early this year, calling it AAA and singing it's praises, and now that it's out in both EU and the US, nobody seems to be playing it or reporting finishing it? Did everyone just not get it, not get into it, not have time to play it, or did you start and move on to other things?
I'm really curious! I seem to be the only one playing through the entire game! I never finish games and it seems I am the only one who WILL finish this one! Odd!
I have a few games I still need to play through. It's the next wii game i'll be getting ,though.

What's this? Grand Slam tennis is delayed "indefinetly" on 360 and PS3?
Earlier today in an EA Sports financial call today, Peter Moore let loose the news that Grand Slam Tennis – featuring John McEnroe, Pete Sampras and Bjorn Borg – has been delayed indefinitely. EA Sports has issued the following statement about the delay.
"We're pleased with the product quality and sales for Grand Slam Tennis on Wii and it's been obvious to us that the sport of tennis is best captured in a videogame when leveraging motion control and we are moving development resources from our tennis team to our EA Sports Active franchise. We believe this is a good swap and expect this decision to yield positive results."
So what is it never coming out or are they going to wait for the rival motion controllers?
Strange, don't Top Spin and Virtua Tennis do alright?
i think having seen the high sales due to motion plus and with the announcements of natal and ball-on-stick, they thought they'd bide their time and use their resources otherwise (as they have said) until they can have the same game (ie a motion controlled) on the other consoles as well, rather than having to make an altogether different tennis game now for the standard controllers (which it would have to be for all intents and purposes)

Yeah, I did that as a joke. Sorry if it was inapproriate. I'll change it.

Depends on the way its done. Generally I like it, if people dont get the sarcasm they're not intelligent enough to be here. Did you hear that Steel?

Steel before you leave, read this on your way out.
2. Is there going to be more support to the Latin American market, as we have a lot of titles that don’t come our way or are very delayed and all very above the USA pricing? This would also address the lack of Club Nintendo support in Latin America.
Nintendo is fully committed to all of our fans in Latin America, from Mexico down to Argentina and Chile. I cannot speak for the launches of third-party titles, but currently for every new Nintendo title, we execute launches across the region on the exact same launch date as in the United States and Canada. We want all of our fans to have every opportunity to share in the unique and entertaining experiences that we are delivering, on the same day.
As for the prices that consumers see in their local retailers, this is a complex issue. Prices do vary from market to market due to a number of variables. Among these are import duties, as well as the additional freight and distribution costs involved in delivering products from the United States into the region. It is important to also note that U.S. prices are listed as PLUS tax, whereas in Latin America, prices are normally shown with the VAT included, which yields a higher price, comparatively speaking. Nintendo is keenly aware of the pricing challenges and continues to look for ways to provide our products to Latin American consumers at the best value possible.
As for Club Nintendo in Latin America, this is something we’re also exploring. Logistical issues are a main challenge here. Delivering awards and bonus items to our fans in a region that is spread across two continents is a daunting challenge. We are looking to see what possibilities exist.

But yay! It's great to see Nintendo turning their heads towards these godforsaken areas and their unwashed inhabitants. Nintendo games are always more expensive around here.
Fuck IGN and their stupid ass TMNT Turtles in Time Review.
Agreed.
I mean who did the review? CarnageHeart? I mean basically the
review just states that the game was nothing more than nostalgia and
that more "modern" beat-em-ups are better because unlike this game you
have more than one attack button. I mean Christ what's next? Super
Mario Bros. is a bad game because there is only 2 types of power-ups
and you can only attack enemies by jumping on their heads? Honestly IGN
has to realize that the "shallowness" is beyond the point. The game is so great because it's a classic as everything is so well rounded and timeless. Than again to be fair the "remake" alters a lot of things that made the original so great.
I love how Nintendo keeps claiming that they have great online support, and then talk about how many users enjoy the Internet, News, and the Check Mii Out Channels. That's not the online service to which gamers are referring; those are extras. Gamers want to play online games. For instance, WSR not having online support is such a wasted opportunity.

I love the comments on that. It's basically turned into a "LOL 360 FLOP" vs "FUCK DAEMON HATFIELD" war.
Just goes to show that you don't fuck with TMNT.
