Conker's Bad Fur Day 2 a strong possiblity?
One of the site's forefathers.
Play fighting games!
That would be something. Would it actually be a sequel to Bad Fur Day or something like Twelve Tails?
^^^^Actual sequel probably.
One of the site's forefathers.
Play fighting games!
The only reason those games get characterized as artistic are the unusual visual design and narratives therein. It's not the gameplay of shooting or jumping or puzzle solving that can honestly be thought artful.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobile^^^I disagree especially when bringing up Kojima and Suda.
One of the site's forefathers.
Play fighting games!
Well that would be a hell of a lot better than another Kameo.
Uh oh. You're going to hate red steel
Not that I know of, but if you have levels and no one else has sent you anything than that is me. I think I could only send you two, I have one more. One of them is messed up, I have to correct the one with tons of fireworks blocks. With the gamingeek one just let the chipmunks blow it up and then just mess around with the blocks for fun. With the gorilla one, you have to clear the path for the gorilla mother to reach her babies, but beware the chipmunks who head to the bomb blocks and blow the structure Also be aware that chemical blocks explode when they touch eachother Yes I am evil.
*raises eyebrow*
Endless Ocean has a very loose structure, it has goals but it's ALL about the experience. The game is basically there to soak in the atmosphere, ethereal music and gorgeous visuals. When you are chilled on on the sofa at night it can be a very artistic experience. For instance the game is literally about turning that corner, having the music pique and coming across an astonishing sight and witnessing that. It sounds like you are arguing that anything interactive cannot be considered art. I disagree if that is the case.
Here is an endless ocean vid, sadly a lot of people have either turned the music off or choose their own via SD card. With the original music you can see what they are going for. I'm not saying whole game is art, but there are quite a few moments which are an artistic experience.
Blue whale http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54NICtS6oKQ
Or look at the abyss footage, sadly the user has changed tracks from Benedictus to River of dreams but you can still get the vibe. If you dive at night you get this awesome moment when your flashlight eeks out over the eye of a sperm whale that just looms over you. It's awesome http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7QqC1XUfTg

http://www.gamekyo.com/video12618_riz-zoawd-first-video.html
So you basically scratch the screen to run really fast through environments like a racing game? WTF? My interest just dropped.
Finished updating for Hagane (Steel)
WTF is this, you are still talking about "art".
You fucking hippies
You spurred the debate by saying that everything and nothing was art
Nice updates. Still have to check out the mushroom men musak.
LAWL did anyone read this exchange between an angry wii fan and treyarch?
http://gonintendo.com/?p=52094#more-52094
Funny email, but treyarch say that the wii version of COD5 has
"DX9 shader technology, or any of the other numerous advancements with the CoD4: Modern Warfare engine which is now running on the Wii with CoD:WW. These ramifications for online play are far-reaching"
^^Lol his clan of millions. Nerd Rage
GG there is a Pac Man game on the DS that controls the same way. According to reviews it controls fine! I found it calledPac n' Roll. More info here
I thought this was an adventure game or rpg. From that video it looks like a racing game where you simply rub the screen really fast and watch dorothy run on rails through the environment at super fast speeds. Really... what the hell?
Interesting to see what renegade kid do on wii. It looks like smaller devs have to plug the gaps on wii with hardcore games. Sad really but good that these relatively unknowns have a platform to perform on and stand out.
Now to show that Endless Ocean looks as good as MP3 and mario galaxy
No GG not sad good! The Wii raison d'etre of the Wii is to give smaller developers a chance. This means more innovative games. Which is a good thing. If smaller developers do not get a chance than we shall have a situation where we have big developers making sequel after sequel. Not good.
About RIZ-WOAD. I saw the video and you can see Dorothy running around enemies. It seems that the trackball gives full 360 degrees motion. The same is true for Pac n'Roll. A weird way of controlling yes, he but look at the bright side, at least it is fast
^ Doesn't sound so bad when you look at it that way. So it's a track ball, I have to keep rolling it to move forward? Ugh.

MIYAZAKI'S LATEST FILM IS OUT AND REVIEWED
PONYO ON THE CLIFF
http://www.lovehkfilm.com/panasia/ponyo_on_the_cliff.html
"A whimsical, fantastic and visually amazing film that is a pure delight for all ages."
"Enough cannot be said of the remarkable animation in this film. It is at times bizarre and outrageous but at the same time charming and curious. "
"Like Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke and My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo on the Cliff is another Miyazaki classic that is a marvelous feast for the eyes. Like a modern day fairytale, the film tells a timeless story of friendship and love that while surely be cherished for years to come. "
Wow the story sounds cray-Z
"The story revolves around the friendship between a magical sea sprite/goldfish and the human child that she encounters during a curious outing to see the human world"
"Yet just as Sosuke and Ponyo begin to develop a bond, Ponyo is taken back by her father, Fujimoto (Tokoro Joji) who is a former human who has rejected the surface world and is now attempting to collect and develop magical elixirs taken from the sea that aid him in repairing and rejuvenating the world's oceans.
However, Ponyo's desire to become human has become so strong that Fujimoto is unable to contain her anymore, and she breaks free from her waterworld home and goes back to see Sosuke.
During her breakout, Ponyo unintentionally releases Fujimoto's cache of magical elixirs, which unleashes all sorts of magical sea creatures and causes a violent storm in the seas surrounding Sosuke's town. Desperate to resolve Ponyo's rebellion, Fujimoto calls upon the help of Ponyo's mother, a water elemental dubbed the Mother of the Sea "
And lets not even go into detail about the fucking lazy ass cutscenes.
