The use of the IP Is licensed out for use in videogames. At one point Rare or Nintendo had that license, which they don't anymore. The process may well have been as you describe, but I don't know.
The IPs, yes, but not necessarily the actual code for the games, though Banjo Kazooie is supposedly going to XBLA, so I guess it's not an absolute.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileMushroom men screens

Looks like GTA with a woman.
Error on page.
Mushroom Men looks good, but the battles seen to be a bit tedious.
Yeah, I had 19 news posts spill over onto Thursday before my shift ended last night.
See I told you, it was the hamsters fault!
*sigh* see and THIS is why this game gets so much hate because most people don't read the manual or the games directions. Just go to the forest or valkyrie city and jump on the ground when you hear a squeak. When a carrot appears, kill it and mix it with a 0 (or 2?) potion and you will get 3 health potions. Or if worse comes to worst plant some seeds or find chests. It's as I've said before alchemy is a HUGE part of this game.

That's Mr. Guinea Pig to you, Pikachu!
Gameinformer: "I now know how film critics felt after screening The Godfather."
"Grand Theft Auto IV doesn’t just raise the bar for the storied franchise; it completely changes the landscape of gaming. Once you play it, you won’t look at video games the same way again."
" But the star of the show is Niko Bellic; the Eastern European anti-hero is my favorite criminal since Deadwood’s Al Swearengen."
IGN: "This is the American dream".
"The story is Oscar quality."
"Some are loveable, but there are many who are despicable. There are cringe-worthy conversations, where you see Niko being sucked into the depravity of these peoples' lives to earn a few bucks or gain a long-sought revenge. That's a credit to the writing, to make what would normally just be some thug you're doing missions for earn your contempt. That's a mark that you care for Niko; that the story has gotten to you. There aren't many games that can pull that off."
"There are more than 90 story missions that will take anywhere from 25-45 hours to complete depending largely on your skill level. I was certain that the missions would get repetitive at some point, that sooner or later it would get redundant. It never does. Though many missions boil down to the same basic parameter -- go to location, kill people to get to target, chase target, kill target -- it never feels repetitive. The locations of missions, the variety in the enemies, the dynamic aspects of the AI, and the dialogue keep GTA IV from ever feeling stale. In fact, this is a game that can be enjoyed with multiple playthroughs. It's just that good."
Just some samples since I suspect that GG doesn't believe me.

Yeah, yeah. Fuck you.
Speaking of Fuck, Steel did you see the Legend of Neil episodes?
Not yet. ^_^
Been busy.
You should see them, totally disturbing and perverted, its practically made for you!
Even the theme song is made for you:
The last thing that Neil remembers
he was drunk playing a game of Zelda
When he whipped out his member
and he masturbated to the fairy in the game because she is kinda hot and he asphyxiated himself with a nintendo game controller and that somehow transported him into the game.
What I really don't understand is why they haven't put Perfect Dark N64 on Live. Banjo I'm fairly sure was published by Nintendo. PD was developed and published by Rare. So you'd think, with how popular shooters are, that that would be the first game they'd put on Live with cleaner graphics, dual analog controls, and possibly Online play.
FUCK error on page, I hate doing updates now.
EDIT: I got an error on page writing this message!
With Galaxy there was a tiny thing in the back of my mind that prevented me from giving it a 10 for me. I think Edge figured it out, something about how its doesn't feel like a cohesive world, its minor but enough for me.
I have no criteria for a 10, a 10 is a feeling for me. I know a 10 when I play it, its a feeling that this game is one of the best gaming experiences you have ever had. Its one of complete awe as you play. Its one where you wouldn't mind replaying the game 5 times back to back. I just feel it.
Edge, on Killzone, I too only played the first level, then I broke out into uncontrollable laugher and just turned it off. HORRIBLE.
3 things:
1) Galaxy is not supposed to be cohesive. Its supposed to feel like its been made by a madman. Besides there is a space theme in all levels. Besides Sunshine had an cohesive them and we know how that ended!
2) Why are you responding to a joke. You know that I was being an ass
3) I figured you did not have any criteria. Your 10 list is kinda weird. How the fuck are you able to distinquish between a 10 and 9.9 anyways?
P.S. I played Killzone too, the only cool thing was the ladder climbing animation.
The feeling, thats how I distigush. It was a good question Iga, why was it a joke?
The biggest flaw in Galaxy was replayablity, second was the spring power-up.
Also anyone read my GTA posts?
