New Nintendo Switch 2 leak 'confirms' huge fan requested upgrade over first console
Despite earlier reports suggesting the Nintendo Switch 2 would come with an LCD display, a new leak 'confirms' it'll have an OLED panel after all, and gives another look at the system
While we've seen rumours that it'll leverage NVIDIA's AI upscaling for 4K visuals and use new magnetic Joy-Con controllers, we've also heard it'll revert to an LCD display.
As seen in the video above from 91mobiles, Switch 2 is expected to have a much larger 8.4-inch screen but mostly keep a similar form factor to the original.
91mobiles' and OnLeaks accompanying report says "According to OnLeaks, the new Switch 2 console will be a lot bigger than the current offerings, namely the Switch OLED and the standard Switch."
"The new console is expected to feature a larger 8.4-inch panel. However, while it wasn’t mentioned which panel would be used, it will most likely be an OLED panel."

They did do the rendering and reveal an 8.24 inch screen.
Trophys would be cool but I feel like Nintendo would have done it about a decade ago if they were interested in implementing it.
Agreed. Nintendo tried their own achievements/trophys called "Stamps" in Wii Sports Resort. I thought Nintendo was testing out the idea but nothing came of it since.
I played Doom 3 up to the first proper boss back on Xbox but I don't remember it that well.

Needs a map, all rooms look the same. Backgrounds are nice, shame they didn't redo the character models. There's a lot of hairless individuals with hexagonal shaped heads.
Also wtf is up with all the Asians? I've never seen so many outside something like Shenmue or Yakuza.

I have to say, Beaver of Anger has a nice ring to it. You read that, and you can't help but assume that's a really important Beaver.

Cheevos can add an extra reason to put more time into certain games. I don;t pursue them like that any more, but I still like to see them, mostely to see what % of other players have gotten them as they indicate how deep into games most people go. I've noticed with narrative driven games the completion percentages are always higher.

Nintendo can be very slow with some things. They are still quite behind with some online features that everyone else has.
There is no gyro aiming. This game is now on my shit list.

It's not bad so far. The enemies magically popping up behind you sucks.The dual analog aiming ugh. Even if someone or thing is dead center the cursor wildly swings too far.
