She's older than me? I don't know if that makes me feel older or not right now.
So I hit the capital in Skyrim and I'm sorta going off the game a bit. Because I played Oblivion to death as well as FO3, I'm feeling the repitition here. The story isn't captivating enough for me to care so far. And the rest of the game I feel I've done it all before - or something similar enough to make it feel so.
I feel like I'm just going to be pinging between waypoint after waypoint just to tick off these sidemissions. I'll get led into some bandits cave, kill some baddies inside only to emerge on the other side with whatever item I was asked to get back. Repeated again and again.
Also having these soldiers instantly warp right next to you when you mistakenly steal something when all I wanted to do was read a book? WTH?
Also the kids all have the same face, boy or girl - doesn't matter. That's wrong.

40 used to be old in my book. These days though, 40 is still groovy. Old-ish, but groovy.
It's like the old anecdote (from a long distant past) that when you are a young teen and you find a playboy and the centerfold has her age listed as 19 you are like "Yew, that's sick, she's so old". Then when you are 26 and see the same, you are like "That's still feasable". And then when you're 38 you're like "What would we talk about?"

I'm 39. Over the last two years I've started to grey a bit. At first it bothered me...but now it looks kinda pimp.
Been playing Salmon Run.
There are some baaaaaaaaad players. I swear without me we would never make it past the final wave. Since the results screen flies by I snapped screens of 20 plus battles to see what was happening.
Most matches I either didn't die once or died.... once.
Each other player died anything from twice to twelve times. I mean, 5 or 6 is bad enough but I had two jokers who died 8 times and 12 times. Meanwhile the number of other players I rescued was something like 6-8 each run. Crazy stuff.
People think I'm anything from 5-20 years younger than I actually am. I've been asked if I was a student at university, 17 years after college.
