The tree move is pretty good, you can use it like a shield and just drop it on anyone who comes close. And the gyroids are good for master hand and you can even ride them like rockets. Balloons r useful too.

Also started Guacamalee, cool game so far.

stupidest shit ever. At the same time why are the pAts doing this, they don't need to.

As this is all the media is talking about now....the funny thing is on local sports channel Comcast sports, they pointed out that during the Patriots vs Packers game in November the announcers flat out said during the game that Aaron Rogers likes his ball to be OVER INFLATED past the limit.

They said it like it was no big deal. So the question is, why is it ok to go OVER the limit but not under? Again, seems like a league jealous of Patriots success just picking on anything they can.

Maybe there is no upper limit, I don't know what can change being even harder. But at around 2psi less than the limit they say you can actually squeeze the ball, some may get a better grip. Though I doubt it really makes a big difference.

It is just so petty, why the hell would you do something so stupid when you are that good. That is what pisses me off. I don't think it had much of an impact but the fact that they would do it is so moronic. I guess bill tries to find every way to gain an edge.

Supposedly the rules are between 13.5 and 12.5...Rogers says he flat out likes the ball beyond 13.5. whereas the Pats has it at less than 12.5... doesn't make any sense that one is worse than the other.

What kills me though is lets face it, every team in the league does shit like this. But they hammer on the Pats all the time for doing the same shit that everyone has done. Like Troy Brown said today, you don't think when that Giants reciever caught the ball up against his head in the super bowl against the Pats, that the ball wasn't possibly under inflated? Damn good point.

I have two codes for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Demo.

Somebody gave me a code before I got mine so I don't need them.

Whoa, at the Andelman article.  There's some major stubbornness at NoJ.  It's a wonder they have new IPs at all.

So, I'm buying amiibos based on the following criteria:

1. They're from a favorite series (Zelda and Metroid series) or

2. I like to use the character in Smash.

So far, I've got Link, Zelda, Samus, Marth, and Captain Falcon. I've trained all but Link to Level 50 in Smash Bros. Zelda, Marth, and Captain Falcon beat my ass every time I fight them, and I lose more often than not. Bastards have nearly perfect AI. Seems to be that way for Level 9 normal AI's, as well.

I don't really get it as Nintendo has taken a lot of risks over the years.

With hardware, yes.  With games, sometimes.  I wasn't trying to say that they don't take risks with new IPs but Im just surprised we have any according to their actions in the article.

I think maybe Adelman is talking via the viewpoint of a westerner working at a subsidary branch in a different country, regarding things he wanted to implement but couldn't.

Nintendo itself is a Japanese company ruled from and by Japan, so I'm not entirely surprised by this. But they do take a lot of risks and if the things he says are indeed true, then how have we got all these weird machines in the first place? Surely if management was that much of a stick in the mud Nintendo would just release normal boring consoles like everybody else, because they would never agree to it.

Having read only part of the article, it sounds to me like it's a very top-down structure, which also fits well within Japanese culture.  Think about all Nintendo's big IP's.  almost all were created by Miyamoto.  He's well respected and thus will experience minimal friction to get his vision greenlit.

It's not so much management that is risk averse, idea's just need to be brought up by the right people.

Yes, this. I think Iwata's appointment has led to crazy hardware ,as that is his vision of the way the company should go forward. But I view Nintendo subsidary countries' companies as being mostly distributers and promoters. I don't for one second think that anyone working at Nintendo UK could get Nintendo Japan - the lords and rulers -  to do one thing they say. And I don't think Nintendo America even have that much of a say because otherwise there would be a more western approach, more western games etc.

Wow, as Donkey Kong you can headbutt people to stick in the ground then slap them to death, it does huge damage.

It was a complete loss. My neighbor didn't have any heat so she had to use multiple space heaters that she had on all the time. Luckily it didn't spread because my sister's house is right behind the house that caught fire.

Also the neighbor and her 4 pets got out safe.
