I like the idea of GOG Galaxy now it doesn't matter which service I purchase my games from I could still play with my friends through GoG Galaxy.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Oddworld remake looks AWESOME!
Witcher 3 goes without saying.
I was excited for the Xbox One controller PC update until I figured out how to make my PC think the PS4 controller was an Xbox pad. Now, I don't give a shit.
Fuu. Hope your recovery goes smoothly
Sony crushed that rumour.
I was playing nothing for like 3 months. Suddenly I'm playing Wii U AC4, got Wii U Lego Batman 2, Mario kart and of course a free game so that's W101 too. And I still haven't got around to buying DKCTP or the cheap Batman Arkham Origins on the eshop either. I'm ensconced in U games.
Well, if what Epic Games are saying is true, we are going to see 3x less AAA games but with increased budgets. Notice how everything has been pushed to 2015? Meanwhile if Nintendo only has to make games to Wii U standards, they'll be able to crank out a lot of exclusives in less time than these 3x AAA last gen budget games that are being made at 3x less in ratio.
It wont happen but it is doing all right. I mean for instance Wii U software sales were up worldwide 80% year on year compared to last spring. Mario Kart boosted U hardware sales in the UK 666% and 82% of sales were of the Mario Kart bundle. In the week before MK launched in Japan it beat the PS4. In the week it did release Wii U sales more than doubled PS4 sales and PS4 sales are trailing Wii U sales in Japan comparing both launch periods. The more Us there are the more software sales can grow. Ironically Mario Kart selling wii us may give Watchdogs U a better chance than it would have faced without it.
I'd much rather have Watchdogs on the U for several reasons. First, I'd like to support the U. I'd love the chance to use the Gamepad for hacking. Plus, being a M rated game, it would be easier to find time to play on the Gamepad rather than waiting on the kiddos to go to bed.
So is anyone getting Tomodachi Life? It has piqued my curiosity.
News page shout out, GG!
Errrr, need to eat, I'll come back and post around 18:00 UTC time (top right of the site time) if I can play.
I'll prolly be outside working in the yard by then.
That's what kids are for.
If you try logging into Tumblr right now, this is what you'll see
I'll be playing around then. Just brought the wife back from the hospital and she's pretty much knocked out from painkillers and drugs, so I should have free time for a while.
Maybe there will be a Luigi Kart coming with new tracks or alternate tracks.
Let's be real here...the Wii U outselling PS4 in Japan doesn't really mean shit just as Xbox not selling in Japan doesn't mean shit. Japan is in their own world. Just the fact that handhelds dominate over there is proof of that.
Its great Wii U is selling a bit better and that MK8 is doing well, but it makes me laugh anytime Nintendo gets a popular game its the same ol' "Can this game SAVE system X?" crap....going all the way back to the Gamecube.
Can Metroid Prime save the Gamecube? Can Resident Evil remake? Can Resident Evil 4? Can Skyward Sword save the Wii?
The Wii U is what it is, its not gonna be saved nor does it need to be saved. Nintendo will have their usual must have games and the console will be a barren wasteland its last few years just like every console Nintendo makes.
Final Fantasy 15 and Kingdom Hearts 3 will skip E3 2014
Okay its 18'00 utc Im here. never used online in mk8 how do we do this? Okay im going online in mk nao
As I said: It wont happen but it is doing all right.
Japanese sales are somewhat important though in terms of niche support and having cache with Japanese developers. It could be useful for inking out deals with other Japanese publishers. Monster Hunter for instance, DQ, FF and more.
Also check-out this, good read albeit wishful thinking:
