Xbox has way better first party at this point. Shows that third party does better on PS4 outside COD and BF4 when you combine with the earlier numbers of full retail sales. It also means KZ and Knack sold about 229k between them.

Nintendo expects 2.8 million Wii-U sales down from 9 million and 3DS from 18 million down to 13.5 million.
3DS Software 80 million -> 66 million and Wii U software 38 million -> 19 million.
They are going 55 billion yen profit to a 25 billion yen loss. Thats an over $700 million drop in expectations for this fiscal year Wow. That is a change of over 6 million Wii Us sold. Down 4.5 million on 3DS. Software taking massive drops.
That is DISASTEROUS. I thought Iwata would step down today but then this happened:

Iwata apologised to shareholders in Kyoto for the extent of the under-performance, and insisted his intention was to rapidly reverse the company's fortunes. According to a report from Japan news group Nikkei, the Nintendo executive insisted he would not resign.
And this:
"We cannot continue a business without winning
," Iwata said on Friday during a press conference attended by Bloomberg.
"We must take a skeptical approach whether we can still simply make game players, offer them in the same way as in the past for 20,000 yen or 30,000 yen, and sell titles for a couple of thousand yen each.
"We are thinking about a new business structure
," Iwata added. "
Given the expansion of smart devices, we are naturally studying how smart devices can be used to grow the game-player business. It's not as simple as enabling Mario to move on a smartphone.
Investors and analysts have urged Nintendo to broaden its horizons and boost profits by embracing smartphones on multiple occasions over the past few years, but Iwata has always insisted that his responsibility is to plan for the long term, not simply to make a quick buck.

WHAT?! So Iwata basically refuses to go anywhere, blames everyone else on the Wii U not selling and figures that starting to support mobile will fix everything. That is a band-aid, that wont do anything, especially wont help the console market. Nintendo needs major changes from the higher up NOW!

That is insane. Who goes down in sales in the second year, only Vita does that. It is very bad when you are compared to the Vita. So this won't be the GC, it will be far worse.
The 3DS sold 3.838 in this last year, in its comparable year the DS sold 8.6 million. The 3DS slightly outsold the PSP in its comparable year, that is what the 3DS is. The 3DS is also a failure, the drop from DS is gigantic.
This is a disaster. So Wii U is dead right, will Nintendo really start to develop a big new game now for release in late 2015, why? Zelda is probably going to be pushed to the next system. I had a Saturn, I know what this is like. We will have a few gems but its mostly over.

Doesnt matter, they have always been single format and throughout history they have always been in the top 10, just not recently.

I've said since day 1, Iwata doesn't have the balls to be what Nintendo needs a leader to be. He reminds me of the idiot that runs SquareEnix. Both he and Reggie also, need to go.
