I sold a couple of my 360 games that I already owned on PC and got a cool $50 store credit at my local Blockbuster. Might comb my collection today as well again to see if I can keep building up credit. I wonder how much would I get for Xenoblade.
F***ing piece of s*** windows 8 piece of crap!
It wouldn't restart, went into automatic repair for 3 hours, did jack shit. Talked to the manurfacturer, could not even get it into BIOS mode, they say its faulty and now I have to return it by mail order to the retailer. Piece of crap! Whatevery happened to windows safe mode and repair tools? Boot up discs etc? System software on dvds?
How far did you get into it?
One hour.
Edit: No, wait. Less. Half an hour to 45 minutes.
Why waste money like that?
Dunno. I always mean to start playing it but I can never find a good setting to start enjoying it. It looks muddy on a HDTV, text is illegible in my 4:3 CRT one. I have started it twice now but never get past entering the first town.
Try going into wii settings and changing the aspect ratio to 16:9, now playing on your 4:3 SDTV everything will be bigger and borderless. This works for many widescreen Wii games with borders.
Also on an HDTV you want to set your Wii to 4:3, as otherwise your tv is just stretching the image out. Trust me on this, the native output is 4:3 regardless of what its telling you and the smaller picture helps.
I remember fiddling around with those settings before, but I don't know if I only changed one or both. I'll try it out tonight.
I just got this email:
GG
As someone who has bought Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you can give a friend a free download to share the fun.
Simply register your game at Club Nintendo by 22:59 on September 7, 2013 and you will get a Recommendation Code you can send to your friend.
As long as they have registered their 3DS XL at Club Nintendo, they can then use the recommendation code to download the game for free.
Think it probably only works with UK/europeans but who knows? Anyone with a 3DS XL want to hit this?
Id' be all over that....if I had a 3DSXL.
Ill be glad to take the code off of your hands.
It's weird, I thought I already registered the game to get that free 3DS game in the summer promo but I was never sent a code. This email came from amazon, not Nintendo. And there was no code attached. I think I have to go into the site and fiddle about.
Oh wait:
So it's only for people who register a 3DS XL system between 6th August and 7th October 2013
Fallout 3 is turning out to be quite fun. I'm just doing my thing powering through the main story and picking up whatever sidequests I get without going too far off. I can't compare it to vanilla FO3 since it's been a while since I played that on 360, but the game offers a nice mix of challenge and fun shootouts. I must be like 15 hours in or so.
Vanilla FO3? What's the difference? Mods?
Yeah vanilla is unmodded one. Of course we're talking about Bethesda of all things, so the proper mods for their games can get you a long way to dramatically improving the overall experience.
20 years from now this game is still going to look gorgeous.
