"Nintendo are still operating like it's 1990. They should have "done a Sega" and offered Mario/Zelda as PS4/Durango exclusives. It is an utterly intentional decision to focus our resources on markets which actually matter ... like mobile, and Gen4. Yep, we've got plenty of problems, but WiiU isn't where that family/casual market is. It's on mobile/tablet now!"
Less powerful than a 360?
Come on, that's just ridiculous. Idiots with Twitter accounts.
People fail to realise if Nintendo DID go away from hardware and all you were left with is Sony and Microsoft not only would it be boring as fuck, but also possibly hazardous to gaming's future as they would be even more inclined to do some shady ass bullshit like always online/ no 2nd hand games/ encourage everyone to strip half their games down and sell it as DLC etc.
And LOL at Wii U weaker than 360.....
How in the world did Nintendo manage to make a console that takes longer to download and install shit than the PS3. I thought that was impossible. I just downloaded Revelations on both, PS3 finished up much quicker, installed quicker. It did have a smaller download but I started it a few minutes after the Wii U download started.
MEGATON.
Hints at Sonic vs, Mario Kart!!!!
How crazy would that be.
Why is no one talking about the Best Buy thing? (well us US guys)
We are getting a mini-E3 at our Best Buys, that is so awesome! We will play Super Mario Universe while its at E3! This is very smart of Nintendo cause that week the wii u display will have big crowds. Everyone will be standing around wondering what is going on and they will pay attention to the Wii U.
I'm not excited because the Best Buy by me is dirty and scary people go there. It's like the K-Mart of Best Buys.
Sumo doing Mario Kart huh? Well Sonic All-Stars was a damned good racer. It could have used some extra refinement particularly with the online. But if Nintendo is looking over their shoulder holy shitsnacks.... could be very very epic. Plus they'd offer enough to maybe even freshen up the series.
Okay, sorry for the "all". Maybe if you had given a response more than "no" we both could have saved a lot of time.
Something being slower at downloading than PSN defies the laws of physics.
Only 100 BB across the country will get it. The one you described probably wont.
If Sumo did the game, that would be awesome. But they are probably just talking guest appearances (Cross/promotional). Would traditional MK fans revolt if a non-nintendo dev handled MK (even as great as they are)? Probably not.
I am defending Grammaton from trolls at GS.
Feels so weird.
In my exp there are two kinds of BB's Gleaming icons of consumerism where everthing is orderly, clean and just right. And the ones that look like a liquor store during the 1992 LA
riots, sorry revolution. Where I used to live the ratio was 8/2 in fovor of the first.and in thinking back, how much cooler would an urban riot be these days with the internet and smartphone/ cameras?
Man that was cool (and very scary) to be there:
I don't know what most are like today, but the one by me is a shadow of what they once were. It just feels empty. Compared to all the things they used to carry though I guess it kind of is.
The company is going under so your store is just ahead of the curve.
Yeah. I'm just sad that Media Play didn't outlast them. Anyone else remember Media Play? It was that same kind of warehouse store, but they had books, video games, movies, and CD's. Easy for a teenager to pretty much live their all freaking day long.
My local Media Play became a crappy Entertainmart.
