Let's keep adding in bigger hard drives and keep prices way the fuck up! Brilliant!
That's one of my favorite parts of the game.
Or you could argue that PSP Japan kept them alive in the first horrible stage of the PS3.
I think they had way bigger problems that the PSP leading up to the development and launch of the PS3 than the already established PSP.
Having said that, in hindsight, they should have not pursued a follow-up. The Vita is kerosene on the burning corpse of Sony right now. Which is a shame, they make good games.
That was my thought. Let us buy our own fucking HDD's please.
You do for all this TV and movie bullshit the console makers are shoving down our throats.
Bring on the console cataclysm! I've had it this week with TVii, MS going into non-game content production and Sony shooting themselves in the foot by forcing these large drives (keeping the prices up).
I really want this industry to melt down so we can start over.
In a games console? Not really. My PC has to store all my games, plus my music, pictures, etc. My consoles store games.
I like Nintendo's approach with the Wii U; Give you more than enough to get started, then let you use inexpensive GIANT external HDD's if you want. That will allow them to make normal price cuts on the hardware when appropriate.
Tokyo Jungle (5.0) Mediocre ReviewTokyo Jungle's great concept and good sense of humor end up being little more than lipstick on a pig.
Trying... so hard... to not make a rude comment about the reviewer...
so...
hard...
Shame on you. I don't even have to click through to know who reviewed it.
You know the Gamespot reviewers THAT WELL?!
Agreed.
And I don't know the numbers, but I'm pretty sure Sony did make a killing on the PSP. 72 million units sold worldwide (and that number is 2-3 years old). That's a success.
I know if you are wanting to turn "lipstick on a pig" into a rude comment that can apply to only one reviewer.

^ Sorry GG. I have to use this image once a week, it's in my contract.
OLD!
To me the PS handhelds just scream WATERED DOWN VERSIONS OF YOUR FAVORITE SONY FRANCHISES. Maybe that's the problem.
With Nintendo handhelds, its always felt like a separate dimension to their console stuff. Not a C-Level version of it.
People who live in glass pigsty's shouldn't throw around stoney comments about pigs then.
But the software didn't sell and that brings in licence money. They may have made a profit on PSP hardware but nearly as much as they would have if the games had sold millions too.
Pro man, I luv ya but this OLD image and point out stuff is getting kinda tiresome. I see you post a few stories a week that have already been covered and I don't go out of my way to point them out. I don't even delete them out of kindness. Having this old git image thrust in my face like Steelo's crotch. Not cool.
Just kidding ya.
I don't have a strong passion for my PSP. They had A grade RPG's though not as many as DS. Completed outclassed the DS for sports games of course. Shooters on both sucked.
In terms of hardware, I have 2 PSP's and they are both fine. I have had 4 DS's, only one is still in full working order. But that is a likely indicator of their use.
