New Intel GPU
If there is a new resolution standard then the current 1080p content will have the same problem that standard definition has now: being upscaled terribly.
Higher resolutions than 1080P is nothing remotely new.
There are some RE4 HD screens here.
Viewed full screen in all their glory I can see what the Eurogamer review was talking about. In HD the ugly textures stick out like an eyesore.
MY EYES!
You know what sticks out as an eyesore even more, every Wii game on an HD TV.

Is this new Mastadon? They've really become a great band over the last few releases.
I went and saw Opeth last night with Katatonia....and while I regard Opeth as maybe the best metal band out there these days, the show disappointed. The band was tight, nd all the songs were great songs....but the set list was horrible. Its like they decided to play the slowest, mellowist songs off every album...nothing heavy at all! At one point, they actually sat on stools for 4 songs in a fucking row....everyone was like "wtf is going on here?" I don't get it...its like they're trying to become a 70's classic rock band now and disregarding 90% of their death metal catalog.
Katatonia is more of a rock band, and yet Katatonia put on a heavier show. That should give you an idea of why myself and others were so baffled.
Yeah, new album just got released. I might pick it up this weekend. Wanted to get a digital copy, but can't be assed to deal with iTunes and I'm not in the mood for buying it with a CC on Amazon either. Mastodon really have become god-tier in the span of a few records.
Bummer about that Opeth show. I would have expected them to rip the audience a new asshole instead of cuddling them with their mellow stuff. I still would have loved to be there, though.
Didn't Anthrax just release a new album these days? I'm curious to know what it sounds like.
