Oh, how I'd love to get PSN or XBLA versions of PaRappa (the first one) and UmJammer Lammy.
that's only 90 centimeters (less than 3 feet for Americans). So what sort of Kinect are they getting?
Yeah, those are both good. Note for those looking for hard copies though, they won't work on HDTV's due to lag, and there is understandably no calibration adjustment available on these pre-HD games.
PaRappa is on PSP though.
Foolz! What are you doing uop at this hour?
Strolling around his house, butt naked.
Maybe a mini one? I hear that in Japan their houses/apartments are small and crowded. I guess a 6ft measuring tape would scare people off?
On the 8-4 podcast of the 6 people who live in Tokyo none of them have a place big enough to play Kinect (sorry if I've mentioned this before).
Any theories on why music games have declined so much?
My theories are:
1. Activision milked it too much and flooded the market, obviously answer.
2. Way too many DLC song lists every week could have overwhelmed the casual consumer. I remember every week there's like 20 DLC songs for $2.99 each whenever there's a XBL update, for both Guitar Hero and Rock Band. I think it's too much and the developers are going too far with it.
3. People just got tired of them.

Yay.
Flawless victory.
All I can say on difficulty is, thank God the game has the NSMB Super Guide feature.
They are or were expensive and they are one of these game genres where you don't need a new one every year. Perhaps once a generation is good enough.
It's the third one. It was a fad. That's not to diminish it, as for a fad to be effective it has to be something that is new, enjoyable and captures the imagination. I have 3 of those guitars and a fair few of the games, but ultimately it's an excuse to play air guitar.
They'll come back in a big way in a few more years when new kids come up and all of us get nostalgic.
All this talk about RDR made me pop it into my Xbox before DKCR arrives.
So between GoldenEye, Sonic Colors and Donkey Kong Wii is having a hell of a month.
PSP God of War is getting much love too -- that's two great titles for it this year (in the west at least), along with Peace Walker.
And now AssCreedBrothers is getting mad press (Eurogamer a 10). So I expect we'll see it pop up as a GOTY from many outlets.
While my talk with Hirshberg was mainly concentrated on Black Ops, I couldn’t help but ask about the dismal performance of Tony Hawk Shred in the most recent NPD report. The game, released Oct. 26, sold just 3,000 copies in October, according to Cowen & Co. analyst Doug Creutz.
Critics pointed to the mixed review scores and lack of marketing for the shockingly low numbers, but Hirschberg says the story hasn’t fully played out yet.
“The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” for example, has just named Shred as one of the 12 top gifts for the holiday season, he says. And the target audience for this installment of the franchise is much different than it has been in the past.
“There’s hopefully a method to that madness,” he says. “For the first time we’re targeting that game to kids. It’s a gift-oriented game, but, that said, we need to build awareness for the game still. … I think you’ll hopefully see a bigger ramp-up as we get further into the gift giving season.”
Don't forget Epic Mickey. Best November ever for the Wii?
That too! We'll have to wait and see what the reception is like, hopefully good.
Eurogamer gave AssCreedBros. a 10?
Interesting.
But yeah, the Wii is knocking home runs out of the park, not just this month but for this whole year! Say what you will about Other M but it's still a must-have Wii game just because it's Metroid! And than Kirby last month, Super Mario Galaxy 2 earlier this year...it's been a great year for the Wii.
And the PSP has also been picking up a lot of steam. I know the PSP is basically dead in the west, but I'm just glad that the developers are bringing over the best PSP games still from Japan and coming up with stuff like God of War Ghost of Sparta. Square-Enix is disappointing for consoles this gen but their handhelds have been great! 3rd Birthday early next year and Tactic Ogre February!
Yeah, keep forgetting that game is coming out in less than two weeks! I'm very interested to see what reception it gets. If it's 8-9...guess I need to save up!
By the way...AssCreedBros. just sounds funny!
