How else are we supposed to charge it? Usb to PS3?
The laser isn't the only power that will come in handy. Sonic can also drill through the ground to discover new areas and collectibles. All of the drilling we saw took place in 2D, and made Sonic seem like a superpowered, superfast Dig Dug. Using the drill, you can create alternate paths and find hidden rooms, and from what we saw, the drilling doesn't seem to cramp Sonic Colors' sense of speed. In fact, Sega representatives impressed upon us that all of these color powers emphasized speed and were created to keep the pace moving. In addition, levels are meant to be replayed after you've earned new powers, so while you may not get to see these nooks and crannies the first time around, taking the drill back with you will reveal new surprises. he drilling looked particularly enjoyable in the next level we saw, as the ground looked like a cross-section of a giant cake filled with orange slices and jellybeans. T
That sweets-themed level also featured giant lollipops, cupcakes, and factories, and the gameplay moved along briskly, taking Sonic across neon-lit rails and through more curly loops. We also saw more uses for the existing powers. For example, using the laser power in conjunction with crystals placed in the levels lets you take shortcuts. The demo ended with a 2D boss fight in which Sonic used both his homing attack and laser power to vanquish a giant eye, all while leaping between platforms circling the eye like nested ferris wheels.
Sega believes that the amusement park theme will give the game a lot of variety, and reps also seem pleased with the planetary hub, which allows players to easily move between levels with a minimum of fuss.Sonic Galaxy!
GOTY!

I don't get it. You can charge the remotes by themselves or do you have to buy this charger? The charger doesn't come with the remote? You can use batteries though right?
It looks like a big pile of wank. The ball on the end kinda spoils things.
Clearly unpolished still, but it's getting there

Same old deathmatch map and it aint looking like anything special even for Wii until it hits you that it runs pretty smooth yet has 4 screens and doesn't look too shabby either in terms of textures and what not. I think that bodes well for the rest of the game... But I wanna see the damn single player already. They'd have to try hard to fuck up the multiplayer being an old school deathmatch type game, but the single player, that will take skill.
Btw the official site has some screens that may not have been seen elsewhere yet. At least it's bound to have a bit of situational visual enemy variety to match the level's theme what with them having raincoats when it, eh, rains.
And trucks have ROUND WHEELS! Red Steel 2 had them what, octagonal PS1-like? Lol.
Guns could use some higher res textures, come on, you have the resolution you'd need for a full character in a third person game, to fit just on a mere gun model. Crisper and more detailed plox. And why the gloves?
Some Conduit 2. MP level design seems nicer. Still has those screen-filling special effects though, meh.
And these people can't do shit with the Wii controls. I guess that's one good thing for the Move, stupid journos will get used to pointing controls and do the games more justice (it's Sony, so they'll give it a serious go!). Of course it will also lead to "you can play better FPS on PS3 with the same controls" but whatever.

Can't wait to see some singleplayer direct feed Goldeneye footage.
Some of the screens don't look too hot.
Epic mickey. My game of the show probably.
For some reason, I don't like Team Ninja's character design for Samus.
They should just use the Brawl design.

Excellent, visually. Gameplay, we'll see. And hopefully the frame rate is just the video's.
